When is the resource that you find after resourcing set? Directly after battle? After you press resource button? Or, maybe the randomness occurs when you successfully resource?
with foraging as soon as the timer is finished and you can actually start searching you can see exactly what plant you are going to get. I'm assuming the resource is set as soon as you click on the tool to resource.
