5 ranks to parallel angelic aura
increase the amount of damage you take, decrease your gem and pet heals, decrease your regen rate, and increase your weapon, pet, and dd damage.

it's not meant as a counter. it works the same as angelic aura does (only applies to you) but the effects are pretty much opposite.

alternatively, glitch could make it work like rabid and apply to all players, with angelic cancelling demonic out, the way that vaccination cancels rabid.

It counterbalance the gem itself it didn't provide a buff/penalty like the angelic did instead it countered the extra healing by reducing the healing a person received, without any further bonuses.
