I don't consider it to be offensive. Which, has no purpose, since what you or I consider to be offensive is of no value. Perhaps instead of taking his comment offensively, you could learn something from his posts. I'm not sure if that other guy was seriously offended by what Lurkee said or if he was being sarcastic. I'm gonna go with sarcasm since he was gloating about a web design degree.
At any rate, is it the strategy of arena, or the funds and time required to hold that top spot, that people are lacking?

I do not care bout pilgrimage, i took it knowing what it meant. I will stick with it . My point remains : in most of Lurkee's thread he is offensive , trying to lure fights and breaking tou a lot. Filtering out the pure viciousness of this, I agree with part of it. It's the arena champions that oppose anything that benefits their opposition. That's just smart, tbh. If you feel like someone is trying to give you bad advice to eliminate you as competition...ignore it. Simple enough.

To try and get this at least partially back on topic, I too am concerned about one of the things the original poster mentioned:
specifically, the effect this is going to have on clan rp if pilgrims aren't getting any chests.

That just seems way out of whack somehow. I presume Jeff and his crew gave this some thought, but I can't imagine how they think this is going to be a benefit to the game.

Did you actually READ what was involved before you clicked the 'yes' button ? Then you had to re-confirm it, so you clicked 'yes' again.
Either that, or your version of Nod is bugged, because that's certainly what I had to do.
However, you say "its already taking way more rrt than I thought". So you thought it was going to take a couple of days, or a week, and now it comes as a bit of a shock. The only thing I can think to say is 'Awww. diddums.'

You don't have to do it 5 times. You don't HAVE to do it at all. You CHOSE to do it, so quit with the continual bitching, and get on with the farming.

I personally would agree with this, but in the end total HP in arena doesn't really mean much..Cause the damage gets so off the walls that even with 50k HP you are possibly going to be 1 hit...

@Noremorse vs lurkee if you think he should get banned just because he is a little aggressive then alot of people on this forums should have been banned.

As far as this topic goes....its a pilgrimage and an epic quest for a reason. It wasn't supposed to be easy. It wasn't supposed to have its tolls. These are in there because it is was it is called...a pilgrimage. Ever hear of a pilgrimage that took just 1 week and took no toll on the person on it? No they are long "adventures" that take a lot of patience and desire to complete. Don't like it? Don't go on it. This game isn't about instant gratification. Want the perk do the work.

It would be nice to know the progression of difficulty in advance. One thing I like about this game is the ability to re-arrange/rebuild my character. If at the end of the pilgrimage, it will take me 100 times the experience to get rid of temp levels then I don't want to do this. Maybe I don't understand, is just past level 85 that you would have those huge penalties on temp levels? And, exactly how huge will they be?

Some speculation:

1st pilgrim 1/20 normal exp
2nd +20 levels to mobs 1/40 normal exp (stats become level 20 requiring 2x more xp)
3rd +40 mobs 1/60 normal exp (stats act like level 40 skills requiring 3x the exp)
4th +60 mobs 1/80 normal exp (stats act like level 60 skills)
5th +80 mobs 1/100 normal exp (stats become like epic skills)


1-90 = 17.5b/80m = 219 days * 4 = 875 days = 2.4 years (so really still a long time lol)

Just speculating cuz if it halves each time it would take me about 8 years to get one stat to 90 on pilgrim 5 using my daily rrt. I'm not exaggerating either.

1/160
1/320

would make 1-90 56b xp equivalent and I get about 80m a day unpenalized

56b/80m = 700 days x 4 = 2800 days = 7.67 years

Assuming I'm right and we won't get any xp boosting skills for it.
