Default Legendary selling price

Why is the selling cost for legendaries so low? They are the most expensive items in the game to get, and most difficult, so why is it that store value selling price is low. The trend from uncommon to rare and rare to epic rose to half store value. Now they are a fraction of the price. This has made legendaries not even worth un-sb to resell for profit, making them take a toll to your wallet. As more weapons are coming out that lean towards hybrid builds, more legendaries are being switched by players in order to perfect these builds, making it a pricy procedure. Will anything be done about it? I'd certainly like to switch my weapon if i saw opportunity in doing so.

I am Ales and I support either higher sts price or lower rebuy cost!

Lowering store buy price will lower the resin cost making them cheaper to craft which I don't think he wants to do seeing as he already did when they first became craftable. Raising store sell price will make it easier to get a legendary redemption which he also already rose in the past in addition to lowering the LG redeem cost.

im not asking to lower to store cost price, im asking to raise the store sell price, and the pk system is still a joke with the legendary redemption, so this would only benefit to that as well

Raise sts price and raise the amount for lg redemption then. I just dont like the fact that i cant even make back what i paid for the mats for a weapon if i decide to switch to another.

I am against raising the sell-to-store price. Legendary pieces are an investment and all players realize this when they purchase one.

Brother, what investment can it possibly be to own so many legendaries that aren't worth what you got them for, it's like buying a new car, you lose money the moment you purchase it, they're expensive as tier one, let alone uptiering. You of all people should see what I'm getting at.

Drowsword, I understand what you're getting at - it's that it is really expensive to unsoulbound Legendaries. I disagree, however, that we should be able to unsoulbound them at a higher sell-to-store cost so that we can easily recoup our costs or even make a profit by reselling. That profit margin rightfully belongs to the crafters who spent no small amount of time and resources to be able to do so. To me that makes sense.

These are powerful end-game items and they cost a lot of gold to acquire. We know this beforehand and accept it. So if someone wants to change his Legendary gear or weapons, then I think it makes even more sense for the game to have a cost-prohibitive system attached to them.

And so it is.

I hear what your saying brother, and I realize that its taken crafters a lot of hard work to get to the point where they can craft legendaries (well, except the ones who booned to it) Here is my problem with your statement tho. Take for example the Kraken I bought. I payed for the mats for the tp, I payed for the mats for the weapon and on top of it I payed 10 MILLION gold to the crafter just for a tp. Now, Im never going to be looking to recoup the fee I payed to the crafter, he earned it by being able to do what he does. What I would like to be able to recoup is at least a fraction of what I payed in mats if, say I decide Id like to try a change to slasher hybrid or something. When it costs 20 million gold in mats to make a weapon and you get 1.5 mil or so back from the store when you sell it. THEN it costs 13.4ish to rebuy it only to sell it for around 15 million gold. So in essence I recouped about 4 million gold of the 20 million gold it cost ME to make it.

I understand not wanting crafters to lose gold, but in all actuality they are losing gold by making it so nobody wants to switch weapons. Make me able to recoup a little of the mats cost and that gold will go right back to another crafter to be able to make another weapon. Theres no profit involved for me, just the desire to try new things in nod to avoid boredom.

Sorry for the long winded rant, hopefully it made sense.

Is there a comparable amount of t30 dusts and high tier resins received when you dismantle a legendary weapon? Perhaps that is the better option.
