Default Additional clan options discussion....

Since all recent dramas about people become squelched etc. how about keep those people civil ban but leave to the clan officers/masters if those people can talk on clan chat.

In most cases people breaking civil rules are still good friends with clannies and if they not - usually they got kicked anyway.

Lets have option when officers can hoover over person and choose "un-mute" or "allow clan chat" .
They still will be squelched but at least will be able communicate with friends.

In my opinion other people in good standing should have a right to choose if they want to talk to their squelched friends

If used unwisely or as joke it can affect the clan a lot. It is up to the clan and clannies to determine the rules and how they are uphold. In the clans ( yes multiple) there is enough respect and trust that this is not a problem, either tru rules or just ask.

If someone is permantly squelched by Glitch or one of the employees and it is proven and reasoned about then why should a clanmaster allow the player talking in the clan?
This is a burden for the clanmaster because yet it is an actual clannie which deserves to speak up which is hard when you are squelched.

I can not just throw this idea away but to support it I really do not know because it will be an additional task to be uphold.

While writing this and overthinking this and pointing out the cons there are pros as well ofcourse like giving squelched players a chance to let them be heard. Let others ask for trades in the public channels and such. The downside would be that a squelch would loose its effect.

Hard hard hard ... still no comment no vote. I will go with the majority on this and/or Glitches reply

I support this idea, since that person can't harm anyone then but his clannies who can just pick to mute him again or kick him, no real downsides

Dont squelch me nore?
Also, give em a cooldown period. for example if you are squelched 8 hours, youre squelched in clan for min 4 hours, civil bans are usually accompaned by a finite, yet lenghy squelch, half that again and such.
Permamute is something different alltogether. perhaps 7 days?
