Default Clan alignment and credit for kills

So here's the issue, intentional or not, I would like to address.

People with alignment are grouping other people (or alts) that are unaligned, and attacking aligned people. So, if 1 aligned person with 2 unaligned group members force on an aligned person, even if the person being forced kills all 3 (rare I know but it happens), then that person gets credit for 1 kill and nothing for the other 2.

I propose you either make a restriction that does not allow unaligned toons or people whose rank is lower than soldier to even enter a square that a clan battle is happening in, much the way that you can't enter a CB that is over during looting if your group members are dead.

The second option I have thought of is to give anyone who is alive when an opponent dies and is not under immunity, get credit for any kill, regardless of alignment or immunity status or rank.

The second one is exploitable fairly easily but I can't remember a time that the clan battle system wasn't exploited. I prefer the first option so that only people actually involved in a clan war can participate, but they both give credit where credit is due.

i support, not a fan of getting grouped 3v1, kill the 2 alligned, and then get killed by the 3rd non alligned member, so that i have to wait till my timer is up to continue killing, when in all technicality, i won the fight, as i beat the 2 clannies i was warring.

mercs are still casualties of war and are part of all wars..i dont see why they shouldnt be allowed in the game BUT i think the opposing clan should take a penalty for losing a fight or even winning a fight with the aids of a mercenary in the form or dom/terr or even rune power lost for being in the fight due to having to pay the merc

@pkp just being grouped halves or thirds's's's's the total terr you get if you win (being grouped) so that penalty is already in effect (if i normally get 3k per kill and group with carl and arq to kill someone i get 1k and they get what would have been my 1k by adjusted for their skills)

@boog to make the second option less exploitable how about give the old base terr/dom for the kill, an unaligned cap gives 85. Its not much but it is something. He could change the faithkeeper/earthscorcher code to only affect aligned kills but allow leadership to potentially double it.
