seriously though, peirce lacks behind the other weapon types. as far as i can tell, has been no peirce buff, besides the 1h buff to bloodlets, in over 12 months now.
the weapon type, needs to be given a revamp, of some kind, to make it a more viable build, without having to hybrid to make it good.

IMO, 2h Pierce especially needs SOMETHING... IDK what... but b4, there was 100% bloodlets to 2h pierce alone, which made it stand out from every other weapon none the less 1h piercers....
Something was lost when 1h piercers could bloodlet 100% of the time too... 2h pierce needs SOMETHING to make it stand out again..

was just discussing this in clan chat lol.
and the suggestion was made:
make poisonbolt rupture the poison damage stacked on the enemy when it procs.
would open up new builds, new teams, would give them a slight buff.
i like it, and i know others might aswell.
NOTE
Idea was NOT mine lol, was simply taken from Alliance chat.

I think something better could be had....
Only reason....Piercer's dont need to poison enemies...not saying they cant' , but it is not built into their build such as flame arrow and poison arrow can bladow, both built in skills for bow users.....

poisonbolt does instant poison damage to a target maybe enhance puncture to do 150 poison damage over 45s in addition to the instant with a 10% (20% for 2h) chance to rupture all poison stacked on the target

Perhaps give a 2H piercer chance to puncture and give 300 damage and keep 1H 150?

No support. Pierce has just gotten a buff and 2H pierce doesn't need to be better than 1H, that's why the buff occurred.

Yup and the logic behind this thread is OMG 1H PIERCE USED TO SUCK BUT NOW THEY BUFFED IT SO IT IS EQUAL TO 2H SO 2H NEEDS A BUFF SO 1H IS WEAK AGAIN.

Anyways, the buffs to 2h are still very present and potent with piercers.
The 1h buff got them close to this, but not so close as to make 2h weaker than them
