Ryiah seems to have been scammed, and even though Glitchless stated he wouldn´t ban anyone due to sharing issues, it would be nice if the scammed person was informed about who logged when and where, so that even if glitchless doesn't ban the scammer the person can alert the nod community about it... there must be trade logs and ip logs or something like that, and even if glitchless isn't sure about what happened, cause things can be deceiving, he can pass that information the the scammed person since he wont be taking any actions. I'm a biased player on this cause i have been scammed before trying to help others, but this is an idea that i kinda agree. Someone leet check if this is possible pls

-TCs (15 or so?)
-Gold (fairly large amount am assuming)
-Epic Woodcutting Axe

-Master Plans:
--Earthfusion Leg

--Mindblast Staff


Also, ToU says DO NOT SHARE PASSWORDS/ACCOUNTS ! It doesn't say you "cannot share accounts," as many people are still around and sharing accounts and looting others' characters, but I would think taking action on such issues would send a message and (hopefully) prevent future people attempting to out of spite or to get ahead.

i agree with underkid and angamaite Ryry helped lotsa peeps out and didnt deserve this , i know the tou say dont share and glitch has said he wont take action on such cases even though i belive he has in the past but thats fine its at his descretion .

i think though as underkid said that trade logs should be public info as well as who was logged durring trades if requested by the scammed player, i see this as not being too hard and may be enough to deture peeps from this type actions.

i also belive that especially when irl purchases are involved (like tc's) it should certainly be grounds for actions , at least actions of giving out wanted info.

just my opinion and take on this issue and all issues like it (as to not show favortism)

I would say even if glitch can't ban the character but if we know who scammed at least we can put embargo on him/her.. and definitely ry is always helpful when she can help it.. i just dont understand why it always happens to her.. :/

its called "trusting" people that are trustworthy have an issue of trusting others and in this day and age of sociaty obviously trust and ability to trust others is frowned upon or at least thats how i interpet it .

if you dont know someone very closely or irl more than likely you cant trust them online theyll always backstab at the first oppurtunity

as for the situation with ryiah...honestly it is her fault but i do think at least her TCs should be returned due to them being a real life purchase

it would also be nice to know who did it so that we can know who it was in the community that we absolutely cant trust

Ok share your pass at your own risk, but maybe jeff as you did in rwk make random trades public knowledge, not AH purchases, just trades, it's a thought, i really dont care either way but i am tired of this ( I trusted 1 too many people} yeah i've trusted a few people and I have not burned, but I HAVE been warned over and over and over and over and over again, my thought is just a thought do what you will, you always do

Since it is obvious at this point that this is the result of stolen items and not simply a mix-up we will be banning the characters responsible (all controlled by same person). They are as follows:
Jwvampjw
Metaone
Threeras

We will not be recovering any of the stolen items as is our policy. Sharing accounts is against the rules. It generally won't get you banned, however, unless you cause trouble. Like this guy did. He did his best to hide and liquidate these items through several trades, so there's no chance he was just holding on to them for safe keeping like he'll undoubtedly tell anyone he's still in contact with.

And it goes without saying but hopefully Ryiah has changed her passwords by now.

Nobody said the scammer's lack of ethics were Ryiah's fault. The fact that he had access to her accounts was Ryiah's fault.

In my scenario what rule did the bank break? I don't remember the bank sharing their safe password with the criminal and then saying "well golly gee, I thought they'd have more ethics!"

If you actually bothered to think for a second as to why the rule is in place, but is not enforced you might realize its point.
Its only against the rules to share pws so glitch can say "ya broke the rule, jokes on you". And that is perfectly fine. With this rule in place he doesnt have to clean up other peoples messes.
So its pointless to ban the scammed party. double punishment is kinda retarded anyway.
If you want a more fitting analogy: Insurance. Forgot to lock your door, insurance doesnt pay. but you dont go to jail for getting robbed just because you made it easy.

It's interesting that people realize this yet are still calling for action. It's a slippery slope of how much Glitch is expected to do in scenarios like this. I think that given the evidence the decision to discipline was wise but also may make future situations more difficult. Ry has always been courteous to me and I hold nothing against anyone from Nod but this was not Glitch's problem and he still took action. Should just appreciate that some extra discipline happened and let it rest.

For the record, I DID NOT give metaone my pw, I did not give him access to Ryiah. I did however give him and loan him access to Korbillian. I felt sorry for him, since he was telling me a sob story. I lent him korbillian to help him along his way. Telling him to take all the trophies he farmed and gold. and if korb got any drops he could take those as well. My generosity turned out to be my stupidity. I do feel sick to my stomach that i have enjoyed the game alot since the double accel patch, spending around about 2k irl money on it proves how much i enjoyed it, but has taken less than 24 hours for the game to sour.

Yes i know the TOU, i know account sharing is frowned upon and a huge risk. i realize my mistake in wanting to help someone out, without just giving them ingame gold/tcs, so if this makes me a bad person, then i am the worst there is. BTW, not once, did i ask to have my items returned to me. although losing the 15 tcs, after a real life purchase kinda hurts, i didnt expect to get anything back.

As far as i can see he took a stack of 15 tcs, my epic woodaxe, un sb an epic 99 staff and took that, took some gold(not a large amount thankfully) and a few legendary masters.
