IMO...and I've done the 127 w/ 2 casters 1 tank and also in a group of 2 meleeer's and 1 tank.... many many times...atleast w/ the caster group...

It is now too easy for meleer's to keel blacks....imo

I do not think it should be the way it was b4 patch.... but from what I've experienced...atleast....this patch pushed too far...

tank for casters (2)

healer for tank + 2 casters

I do agree with RT that damage was consistent with melee and it seemed like a stroll through the park. Although with those bosses on heroic hitting much harder and more frequent i think it will be more difficult for melee than casters due to being harder to replenish and provide massive healing for a quick recovery.

I'd rather miss more and deal full damage than miss less and deal mitigated damage. The lowered damage against black mobs/bosses (before this recent patch) was lame imo.

Also, imo its a good thing that non magic users can function as dps toons.

even with new OP crusher casting double heals almost everytime.. I cannot compete with casters vs bosses. I tried tho!

The new class to be is obviously Caster or BM.... Melee does hit a little more now but IMO still behind.

everyone who's beaten the 127 deserves that spot...

my worry is...what about the end of this week?... or next week ?... or week after?...

for 1 reason... beaten the 127 more than a handful of times now.... and by far the easiest.. was with my all melee group (be it that they are the most OP and diversified in skilled melee)..... Also, it was our 1st run as a "boss group'' together, we had only done like 5 maybe? (successful) attempts at bosses (the ones leading up to the 127)

I can definately see this boss, given enough tries and/or luck being beaten by a mediocre team at best....

The game is about growth so why is it such a bad thing if melee weapon users are now able to compete with casters? I like the fact that now there is a place for melee dps in the late PvE gameplay

Coz casters are the elite majority and they are looking tn keep it that way.
