Golden showers

I am sure this will not go over well with the annoying players. I hesitate to spend real money on this game because all the people on my ignore list get golden showers the same as the good players ,what about a toggle button to be able to exclude people on ignore list from any showers you give..

IF it could be implemented I would say definitely worth doing.

i like that idea, having multiple accounts i usually mute the same people on both, if they annoy me on one they'll annoy me on the other, why should they benefit from someone paying if they are on that persons ignore list

woul'd be nice if it happen'ed before friday cause it's payday

Yea, I know what you mean. It just annoys me when people benefit from something I do, and then they turn around and disrespect us paying players.
It's like they say thank you, then turn around and diss us.

Yea, in your situation, it really does suck. They benefit double, because of your two paying accounts.

Yea, it would be awesome if he could get it in by Friday. The sooner the better, I think.

talk about real spite from people that they would be worried about giving what? 5-160 gold to a person they ignored... u people really think too much of yourselves if u really believe that the 5 gold u spend on a timecard really affects these people... this gold is more helpful to the players under lvl 10. once u start hitting lvl 15+ these golden showers become like 1% of your weekly income at best.

despite all this u even have an option to turn off golden showers completely, or do u require the "mandatory" thank yous that follow every golden shower to make yourself feel good about your lives...

but just to sum things up i'll give u people more credit then i should, i'm sure u all realize there is a turn off golden showers button, so what your all saying is your spiteful enough not to want to give someone who might or might not be on when ur making your purchase, but not spiteful enough to turn off golden showers?

dont think of me as a biased individual, i am not on many ignore lists and i am of a high enough lvl that golden showers mean little to my income. my free alts appreciate the golden showers and they arent on any ignore lists since they dont even speak in chat

You're right - the ones who benefit most will be the ones below level 10.

I'm sure most of the people I have on my ignore list are below level 10, and us paying obviously does help them out.

Also, there are some serial spammers who are on many people's ignore lists. They could lose out therefore on a LOT of gold, perhaps 4 figures worth over a sustained period of time. The offenders who are on the most ignore lists will suffer most.

As I said before, I don't know if it's implementable, but if it is I'm all for it.

The fact that someone would think this as 'important' is pure idiocy. Come on, Ive only seen like 3 showers that equaled more than 20, and Im lvl 6 and no it hasnt helped my income all that much. Id say at this time 98% of my income is not from showers. Ive always stated in the past that thanking someone for 5 gold is ridiculous, as you could have fought a crab and got the same in gold....

Lets all just get over ourselves ok? Im sure that the ones you ignore are not sitting there thinking, "HAHA I get gold from the ones I annoy!" so you should not worry about such things yourself. And to be honest, maybe we shouldnt have golden showers at all while were at it. I, for one, dont cater the idea of being 'showered' by any golden liquids. This idea belongs quite firmly up the business end of the nearest elitist, only to be shared with a toilet.

You made quite an effort to rant about this, yet, like Style, didn't come up with a single reason why *not* to do it. No one thinks of it as a revolutionary idea, but it's neat and, obviously, was not much work to implement.

Im serious though, I cannot believe that time was wasted implementing this. This was implemented because 2 or 3 people felt like they were actually benefiting someone they choose to ignore, by giving the 5 gold. And the fact that it was allowed to deny someone 5 gold for being on a list is ridiculous.

I believe the golden showers arent so much there to benefit everyone. I believe it is there to remind others to donate. The whole showers thing is just a form of advertisement. When people donate, they shower everyone, in turn most people thank the donator for donating. And Im sure others have chosen to donate to the game based on the observations of the golden shower process.

So way to go in removing some advertisement in the game, apparently you dont need the money that much.
