Default Taunts how to better them

Taunts are need to help your friend from suffering damage the current taunt system has a no overlapping feature...


I Would like Taunts to be split in to 2-4 groups for each type of taunt and to have each its own Aura instead of just one Taunt icon. taunts get icon Prevokes get icon Challenges get icon and Retaunt get icon. to better help tanks have a chance to lower the fail to taunt and have a group partner in PVE Die to a micro second of missed taunt.



So i would like to see taunts have 4 Icons for better clarity and have great change to keep taunts up.


Or taunt Duration to Stack " i know this is Crazy idea"



having a visual of time to fall of would work but harder to impliment

It's a good idea to have a look at the current system.

Your idea has merit Froth, but even something simple like having the "Taunted" icon be placed on the extreme left so that it doesn't get shuffled around as other icons come and go would help.

I find it hard watching for the current taunt icon as it jumps around during P v E fights, and keeping taunts overlapped.

Maybe they should make an epic taunt aura that doesn't need constant clicking or at least not clicking as often

or give each buff/dot a timer showing how many seconds are left, make buffs appear like any other stack of items with a number in the corner

you can see when your opponent(s) is taunted .... bout the timer ... good idea but with any kind of lag you will be too late or too early ... make it like a cooldown timer like the gemshatter has so only the taunter can see how long left on the timer

if you lag im not sure counting milliseconds of taunt is for you

if the timer is local and not server side lag and based on the seconds till end time instead of duration lag wouldn't effect this

Our current thought process on taunts is this: Taunts in Nodiatis are already super powerful - more so probably than in most other multiplayer RPGs. Not only can they be cast repeatedly to sustain taunt indefinitely, but they work in PvP. The difficulties of actually using them to ensure 100% taunt without wasting mana is the responsibility of the taunter and not really something we intend to make easier.

OK can you at least move the taunt Icon to the leftmost place as when it on the end in pve when a mob Draws a Gem the taunted icon moves behind a gem the mob has drawn to obscure the taunted icon.
