easy temper off season

I like this update because it will open up higher boss runs for people who are not the elite 3-9 who make 3k rating consistantly.

But for those noobs, no offense meant by that, who think this will open up higher areas to farm, are sorely mistaken, or will end up wasting a tooooon of rrt. In Pit/Abyss... even redwoods you can already get three pages of trophies. And three pages of trophies is the max you can get at the moment. So farming anywhere higher than these zones is utterly a waste of rrt.

I appreciate this might annoy people in the top 50, but as has already been pointed out, if you're a noob team with low rating, you're not going to be able to temper all your stuff x 7 as a result of one season (unless you've been on for hours every single night).

Also, it rewards people who have been in arena from the start of the season, and means an end to having a load of wasted tokens at the end of a season simply because you've missed a rating level by a couple of points.

I was unlikely to have participated in the next arena season, with this change I now will, and hopefully a lot of players feel the same way. Although, for the record, I've used all but 400 tokens already, so only 1 item will benefit from an upgrade due to this patch!

no morphing doesnt remove tempers but up tiering does remove tempers and enchantments sadly as i found out to my cost

It's almost free imo cuz if u weren't in the top 3 or 2 teams u can still do 7x tempers - what is max - if u haven't got the rating as well. Like me i had a few tokens what i don't know what to do with cuz i haven't got ratings - i didn't do arena lately... Now i could temper a lil bit. Won't say that not a big money or token to temper 7x but u no need rating for it in that single week. Never expected that will come out i can only say thanks but i am afraid what will be the next? tokens tradable?

i like paulos idea.... ratings should mean something afterall....for every 500 rating crossed u get proportionately more tokens... giving teams that actually deserve 7x tempers a chance to collect enough tokens for em
but i do like the idea of carrying over saved tokens to next season. BUT that should be the case ONLY if u keep the same team. if even 1 person leaves the team gets disbanded and all lose tokens. And 'disbanding this team will make you lose all collected tokens... are you sure you want to disband?' option is also a must to dicourage team hopping

That being said....... i am totally baffled at this free gift out of the blue. such a patch shud be announced at the start of the season and not so sneakily so many days after seaon end. That way toons who actually have the ratings have used their tokens for 5 or 6x tempers while casual team-hopping toons who had no ratings and no standing whatsoever have now got 7x tempers? silly

I ALMOST made it to 2k rating at the end of the season. Since I wasn't able to quite make it, I settled for buying T4 tempers (in the off week, before the patch). Would have been nice to know about this a bit sooner so I don't spend double the money getting 5x or higher :/
