Default Capture the Flag- PvP

PREMISE:
Two or more clans can enter the tournament, even can be done with teams picked like arena teams are, clan regardless. Each team has a ''hidden'' flag inside a shop in a selected, or could be random to make things more interesting, town. When a player carries the flag in their inventory, they are greatly buffed in game PvP combat.

OBJECT:
The object of the game is to capture the flag, which can only be carried by opposing team(s), and bring it back to either a pre-designated "base" for the team, or a neutral ground, say T2, or perhaps a random town every time. Each time the flag is captured and brought to the "goal" without the capturer dying in a game PvP combat, a point is scored.

ORGANIZATION:
  • Upto 18 members form a complete team
  • Opposing team members flash green on the local and buddies panels, indicating that they are included in the on-going game
  • All teams start at a pre-designated "spark point" (fairly far from any flag, including your own); it is at this point that you are sent back to if dying in game PvP combat, each team has its own "spark point"
  • All teamates are shown on the Nodiatis Map with locations, individual groups are designated where the bottom half of the "local panel" usually appears when opening the map
  • When carrying an opponents flag in inventory, all stats for your group receive a boost of 100-200 (depending on where they normally stand) and your AC is doubled

GAME RULES:
  • During gameplay, no gate nor recall potions can be used
  • When an opposing team member has your flag in inventory, a group of upto three may "fear the leer" (begin the stalking PvP process)
  • You may be grouped if you have an opposing team's flag in inventory, but you nor your group, may enter the same square: When you have the flag, you stand ALONE
  • Any member or group of members of an opposing team can force any opposing team members they encounter, sending them back to the "spark point"
  • Only 2 groups of upto three may be on the same square at any given time from the same team besides the spark point square
  • Only one member from each team may come within four steps of ANY given town

So how would this work? Would it be like arena? If the other team got the flag where do they take it? Is one suppose to just carry it like a boss til it gets taken? Does the spark return to the spark point? Would the spark point change? I think it should once the flag carrier loses it. Otherwise it would just be dumb to not go back to where you got it.

How long would this last? The additional stat points sound tasty but i could see some pretty OPs using it to help farm even faster since you usually farm solo.

Sorry about the 21 questions but i like the idea but for me it needs more cookies gotta have cookies.

---Yes, you carry the flag "like a boss" towards your objective, the goal; you do not just run around like smear the que*r.
---I do not know which "spark" you're referring to which returns back to the spark pt. lol
---The spark point in my original conception would change from 1 pt. being scored, after a pt. is scored, a reset happens, all teams are returned back to a new spark pt. and the game begins again; the spark pt. changing randomly and periodically within the same pt. is an interesting concept thou. -------Discovering where the flag is, is a big part of the strategy and the game as a whole. Once the location of the flag is opened up to the team, strategy becomes very important in guarding and capturing this posession.
---The game would have different settings for an adjustable game length depending on the want of the player base. Possibly: 1 pt. wins (quickie); 5 pt's wins; 10 pts; 25 pts; 30 minutes; 2 hours; 6 hours; 24 hours.
---the bonus to stats from the flag is not present in PvE combat during the game. Only game related PvP combat initiates this ballooned status.

I think it would be interesting to test this idea on a bit of a smaller field that doesn't include the world map. Simply have a "special" location that could be constant or randomly generated to pit two teams of six or so players against each other. Figure out if anyone has interest in trying a capture the flag mode before implementing all these changes on the entire world map and including 36 people at once. Just some thoughts.

However I completely agree that some new forms of PvP would be appreciated. Or some type of level stipulations, as a level 26 (mock all you want) PvP consists of spontaneous hits in Clan Battles or going into the arena as a burden on my team and getting wrecked. Doesn't make much sense.
