Does anyone feel the amount of gold gained is too low?

Right now we can create multiple accounts to get gold faster, but I'm going to go out on a limb and assume its going to be ridiculously slow-going when beta ends and the majority will be working with only one account.

I could be off-base but it feels pretty slow to me, compared to all the things I'd like to buy. Prices seem to get pretty steep pretty fast to upgrade weapons and armor and the gold drops do not seem to increase accordingly.

Perhaps add a GOLD RUSH!!! feature, so there would at least be a chance that a treasure chest would pay out double.

there will be a change to boss loot and when crafting is implemented I'm guessing crafters will have a easy time making money

I guess its true that the crafting system could be an excellent avenue to gain Gold. It worked pretty well in RWK.

So I'm all for that.

But should we consider alternatives to crafting for income? For those who don't want to craft so much?

What about a set of Rogue-like skills? Stealing, for one.

If you're using RWK as a basis of comparison to Nodiatis then yes, gold is going to seem like it is rare beyond belief especially after the release when people can't readily farm bosses on alts. This is by design to ensure an economy where gold has great value.

The amount of gold you get from chests will not be enough to survive on. The bulk of your wealth will come from the items you get from bosses and from the player economy. You won't necessarily have to be a tradeskiller to capitalize, there are 7 resource gathering skills that you will be able to use to harvest the much needed items used in tradeskills and selling them on the AH will be very profitable.

it could be a great help if wee can foward gold from RWK to Nodiatis such as Dragon Wizard to RWk.Oh man that bee leet even the gold at rwk will go up............lol

its very easy to get lots of gold after passing lvl 15 as every boss makes you at least 5k richer just by selling the items to shop

also when u get higher lvl

you can get like 20 plus gold out a chest

so its quite easy to get some gold as u pretty

much dont need all the drops of boss;s

so can sel most of them for easy gold

to get what u need

yeah thats true im lvl 16 and get in average 10-15gold per chest

yeh at lvl 22 i get from like 16 - 38

so basically gold from chests increases in average as you lvl therefor there is currently no need for changes

as well it sorta defeat the point

i think the theory is your meant to PK

to get the gold u actually need

as well as boss kill

so tht the gold value stays low so u resort to other means

though when crafting is brought in tht will make u gold

yes i agree that what chest gives at the moment is and its also good that what chests give slowly increases over time so that you get a little more gold from chests as time goes by to match up with the increases in item prices

i am sorry glitch, i disagree with this... Boss farming is the way to go!
