except that an archer can't get the whip to proc w/o attacking with it, at which point he isn't an archer... lol

it's a solid whip, with solid stats.

Now that DKs have pet bonus, this is the best whip combo (in my humble opinion):
BM/DK
99 Epic Whip + LG Whip
Big bonus to the already massive slow aura, and huge bonus to pet damage from both classes.
