Default Fire & Ice

It's very unlikely till the damage boost kicks in for a non-whip user to actually have their pets do real damage to anyone with damage shield lg gear.

I would like to request healing pets having the option to only heal when in pvp...a counter tactic would still be rabid for those who would want the opponents pets to potentially cause that proc.

attack pets would not have this option

I have been thinking the same thing for a while...at the moment the only option to stop setting off the massive shield procs is to remove pets. I had another possible way of getting around the fire and ice issue without de levelling it.

Aura of trust - this aura causes a 25% (for r1 up to 50% for r5) increase to pet healing but stops pets from attacking. This is a personal aura not a group aura. If pets are rabid when trust aura is used the pets neither attack nor heal.

For the tanks that feel this is a nerf to them...players can already remove pets which does the same thing, and when tanks are trying to kill high level bosses/epic beasts the extra healing could help a lot.

another great option angel,

i think the healing amount would have to be significantly lower (half that of rabid based on ranks) since a heavy tank with that extra healing would be huge in pvp, especially a 25% boost to a bm...granted gravebound and reaper counter this somewhat along with as you said rabid would potentially.
