well... the poll options are useless; i do not squint at all. also, it is a double request but a single poll.
A seperate chat for help requests could be a good idea, provided those who nag, whine and insult free accounts now stay out of it....
As for the chat size i disagree, it is fine
As Glitchless allready quoted in another thread, harrassing people is allready punnisheable and reportable.... you were moaning about someone doing that earlier..... now you ask for the same thing.

No I am simply requesting a feature to help reduce problems. Well it is a 2 part feature request.
The player help channel is simple and shouldnt need explaination.
The extended chat may need a bit more explaination:
By extension I mean one of two things, either make the chat box larger or a button to expand it, or seperate channels for lets say, TRADE, GENERAL, TRASH (for those who wish to use it), CHALLENGES, ETC. This would help lower the jumble and allow messages to be viewed easier. I look at chat now and it feels very rushed, you can only see the top 3 posts, and lets face it there are ALOT of players who chat on that so messages are flushed out of view almost instantly.
I feel this would be a great addition, and I believe that (considering 80% of MMOs out there use it) it may be worth working in.
Heres another idea, how about a Paid account only chat board? Maybe then the ones who complain about having to hear "freeloaders" whine.
As for the poll:
The 2 choices I laid out are more or less the same so they can be covered under the same poll. Maybe I should have just kept them together....

I get really tired of the 'buy my stuff!' spamming and would prefer a trade channel for those announcements. Also, a help channel for newbies would be helpful, if you can bounce those using it for general chat.
I'm happy to help newbies, but end up squelching chat half the time, which means they are left to the 'pay or go to hell' snobs.
I'm not sure what was going on last night, but you ended up on my ignore list as well, so I'd say it was a two-way street.

Agreed, there could be even three channels (chit-chat, help, trade).
And I'd prefer simpler options as well (Yes, as soon as possible; Yes, but no haste needed; Not needed at all). Keep the options objective the next time.
As for making the chat box larger, I don't care. It's fine the way it is. Ah, use the "Override Player Colors" option. Looks way better, makes things legible.

To me its legibility is fine, the only issue I have is that its only large enough to allow 3 posts at a time to be viewed, which makes it by far the smallest chat Ive ever seen, and it requires alot of scrolling to have a convo, Im just saying an expansion button to enlarge it if you want to so as no to make anything else smaller, like it becomes its own page more or less.
As for me being on the ignore list:
Couldnt care less, most people claim to put people on their lists but miraculously see the posts when you hit a soft spot....

i like the ignore free accounts option. makes my life alot easier, and i happen to be a nicer person.
however, i would like for there to be a channel specifically for trading. instead of spamming chat going "buying blahblahblah. pm me"

The only reason I can think of for having an option like "Ignore Free Accounts" is trading. Seriously, I don't think there's something like "people with free accounts aren't as nice as those with payable ones" (I'd say there is a grain of truth in just the opposite statement). Then again, the option probably prevents you from hearing what 90% of kids in Nodiatis have on their minds (I just suppose not many kids buy the accounts here).
By the way, why exactly do you ignore free players? I only wonder what other reasons may people have out there. If you want, keep it secret.

Help channel: Yes.
Bigger chat: Eh, maybe. I'm impartial on that.

A help (or Newbie) channel would be a great improvement, but I think it would only work if new players weren't allowed to participate in any other channel till they're level 3 or something like that. Otherwise, not all but many of them would use the normal chat anyway just to get a quicker reply or more replies and then other players would tell them to shut up and switch to the noob channel etc, same pollution as before. Also, this would prevent players that just made an account and played the game like 5 minutes from shouting "Man this game sucks" with about 15 exclamation marks, which is a minor nuisance, but still.
I agree that the chat box is too small, an option to extend it would be much appreciated.
