Needs to be looked into *i.e. Mod or jeff*

I would really like to know why it is that people can use racist comments on the client and bash people and threaten them and when I tell someone the same thing I get muted?

It seems a bit of a double standard if you ask me. The ones who are saying racist stuff are paid accounts and Im a free account. Id like to point out that is a bit discriminitive and this game allows players as young as 13. It would apear that your Mods are selective in who to punish and even more so favorable to the players who pay to play.

I tried out to see my limits and never went beyond the worse thing I had been told by a paid member. And got muted for saying the same stuff as they did.

I am not asking for a flame session nor am I attempting to goad anyone into an argument, Im just trying to get a hold of someone in the staff to get some answers. Thanks for your time.

This happened about 5-10 minutes before I posted this.

I'm not speaking for the staff, but I think this is simply a matter of the "you got caught" rule.

You were probably saying stuff that Jeff didn't like while he was actively watching chat.

There are plenty of times people say the same stuff but Jeff simply isn't watching so there's no action against them most times.

You just never know when he's watching.

Actually the convo was between myself and 4 other people on the chat, so theres would have been seen too. They said the same stuff I did, and it just so happens that they are paid accounts.

Not to mention that if you go to RWK racism is rampant there. SO the track record shows.

All Im saying is that if Im going to be muted for talking trash then the other people who did the same should have been muted too (which they werent, they continued saying the same stuff after I got muted).

Im not telling the guy how to run his game, but descrimination is descrimination. Just because I havent paid an account (yet) doesnt mean I should be targeted....

I know the names of the ones who were doing the same but Im not going to post it here, and the mod who muted me SHOULD know because he had to look through their posts to find mine (think about it, 4 people posting to my 1, hard to miss).

*shrug* If that's the case I can't say I blame him for giving preferential treatment to the players who pay the bills.

And if a muting is all you got I wouldn't complain too much. It's the equivalent of a slap on the wrist.

Ok there Ive paid something to the game, now will my opinion matter?

Why is it when I post and try to be nice people got to come over and start crap, it was a simple thing that happened:

I was targeted and muted for no reason other than the fact that I was saying the same stuff that the paid accounts were saying and it was very hard to miss there posts considering the convo was 4 to 1. I find that to be descriminitive, and I dont care that paid accounts should get more leeway. I paid and yet I dont believe I should get special treatment.

I understand I got muted for a reason, but I was only following suit. But Im done talking about this, just remember that this happens to more than just a few people. Free players are CONSTANTLY harassed for asking questions. Now how are they supposed to feel the game is worth their money when they are persecuted for asking questions (and no its not the usual noob hassle, its out right harassment).

I find it funny too, because think of it this way:

New guy joins
New guy asks how to use a skill
Paid accounts harass the new guy for not paying for his account
New guy quits (walks over to WoW or some other game and spends his $200 there)

Thats whats happening here, and the owner of the game doesnt do anything about it besides allow people who get frustrated over this issue to be muted for speaking out....

Oh and Hopilus you shouldnt speak here seeing as you were among the list who enjoyed such language as what I used and yet didnt get muted. I wasnt going to point anyone out but you jumped out on this one.

As posted in other threads, if someone is breaking the third rule of Nodiatis and is harassing you, either ignore them or ignore them and report them to abuse@nodiatis.com and they'll be squelched for an hour. We not tolerating the same diarrhea of the mouth prevalent in RWK.

Think about it that way, maybe Moderators have an option like "Ignore Premium/Standard Players' Shout." Seriously, I wouldn't expect people with payable accounts to be just banned or something. They pay for what they get and so feel untouchable.

Just yesterday someone insulted Glitchless directly. I don't think such rude comments could go unnoticed. Yet, I don't think the person got banned or something.

I agree with Glitchless, though, that you should just ignore such people. Also, it's quite common that the most experienced players of a community are also the biggest louts (common but not necessarily true). So, try avoiding chit-chatting with these people.

so, way i see it, if by "playing nice" you mean making comments that are unwanted and unnecessary, towards people who didnt even know you existed, then sure, you were "playing nice". please, dont make yourself out to be the victim when you start stuff.

I don't really know what happened between you two and I don't care much. If he was insulting you, Hopilus, he deserved what he got.

What I want is some kind of control over what people say. Then again, I support freedom of speech. Just try being a little bit more gentle, lol (don't overdo it).

By the way, judging from the "Angel of Mercy" in your sig, I suppose you can forgive our friend Ryuto here.

i will usually do what i always do to people who piss me off and then make themselves out to be the victim when i retaliate and wont stand for it. iggy them. solves any and all problems.

Well, if that's it, he was only sharing his views, ideas. We should respect these (as long as they don't harm or insult others). If he's an American, he has right to say whatever he wants about Americans as a whole (coz he's talking about himself then as well). Otherwise, he still has right to think and say whatever he wants (again, unless he harms or insults others). If you were offended by what he said, you should have told him so, not start insulting him (if you did take part in this, which I cannot know).

Anyway, no need to dwell on that particular matter...

Ryuto actually started off randomly insulting people. As such, random other people started telling him to be quiet, progressively in a more assertive manner.

Actually you are wrong, it started with me asking a question as a free acount and getting harassed with racism, and then getting muted for speaking out against paid players. They said the same crap I did, most went further, I never used racist words, the paid ones did. And since I paid Ive gone even further and gone 3 days straight with the same activities and guess what:

No mute

Anyone else see why I may be a bit upset?
