I may be selfish on this matter a bit but if i got something i know nobody can yet craft i doubt it would benefit anyone to have a copy of it. How many people remember the original stated purpose of RT? The original purpose of RT was to create a more level playing field. So big spenders and addicts did not have a major advantage. They still had an advantage but not nearly as much as they do now. This is a type of balance that has nothing to do with class or build.

I know almost nobody agrees with me, but I think the worst patch in this game was the +6 hour time cards. This is what really created the major imbalance in the game because it completely defeated the original purpose of RT and the level playing field. (the original TCs without 6 hours were good though)

For the first year or so there were a lot of patches that helped new players. But for the last couple of years the patches have more and more catered to the elite. By elite I mean the big spenders and addicts. As a business model that's fine and if Jeff gets rich that way, that's fine too.

However, if Glitchless chooses to cater to the elite, they can't complain about the small player base. It can't be both ways. By definition the elite are a small group of people. Only a small number of people are willing or able to spend huge amounts of money and/or play huge amounts of hours. If the player base is to increase, then something must be done to cater to the more casual player other than simply using them as fodder for the elite.

An increased player base means increasing the number of casual players. A bight red flashing neon sign saying "Casual players have ZERO hope of EVER being competitive in this game" is not the way to increase the player base.

tcs not giving 6/7 hrs rrt would actually be a benefit to nod...i wasnt playing when it got introduced, but seems like a way for the most op to keep on getting more so and running out of content too fast. we get plenty of rrt per day and there are lots of things u can do in tm or out of rrt anyway.
