How about preventing idiots throwing matches?

How about when the last month or so nears when you Queue you are automatically in there for 5 matches or 1 hr...whichever comes first. This will ensure ppl don't hop in while another team is on short break and prevents them from just playing enough matches to avoid decay

It is a great idea for random encounters, it is a crap idea for arena winnings. As for crafting i dont care much.

Thanks Jeff for the update, just a few questions if you have the answers yet or want to share them.

1. when you say The first method of acquiring legendaries will be via random encounters. i assume this will be like a random boss? also will these only be possible from just the highest lvl capped mob areas?

2. also any idea when this (randoms) will start to drop (go live) ? i see obviously LG weapons will be out by arenas end which is what, like 5months off yet? will this be the same time there avalible as drops or will drops start sooner?

atm thats about my only questions because 5months seems so far off to think of more .

Guess that's why the gold cap was raised to 50 million, Legendary Weapons will cost that much unless you are extremely, extremely lucky enough to have a random enounter and prevail, or you are Bengrim.

also how many variations of weapons will there be? like 3 bows/arrows/quiver like 99's?
will they be morphable like armors?

i like the arena change tho doesnt effect melee in the slightest since arena is a tank/casters domain and holds no place for straight melee as every body knows, least for now. for the lg weps, im not sure what to think of that. gut tells me is kinda nice as isnt just catering to the rich but giving all equal chance but then head reminds me what terrible luck i have and back to the gutters. crafting lg's ive never agreed with, dont much care for any crafting in nod but thats just me.

Pisses me off, I cant do anything else to thorin to make him good in arena... hes still no able to keep up the casters/tankers. Oh well! Im done ranting now

Start saving up for the bidding war on the first legendary weapon. And if you lose that, save up to buy it from whatever crafter gets it and starts making it. And if you can't afford that wait for another crafter to buy from that crafter and disassemble it to make it cheaper than the original crafter.

I don't think class balance should rely on a very, very rare gear find. Won't casters be getting staves as well on top of it?

crusher, piercer, slasher, their 2h counterparts, bows, arrows, quivers, whips and staves guess which ones a caster can use and guess which he will sell

just save up your golds until one is found and hope you can out bid any others

Work my but off in this game just to find out that I wont be able to get a lg weapon because i cant out crush a casters casts or over power a tanker in arena...

Talking oh its balanced already... Well.... How much balance is it when a tanker and 2 casters win arena this season and the 2 most powerful builds get yet another edge...

kinda the point, he's a very strong melee, we both are and yet we are both useless in arena. a bit messed up that lg weps will be given to arena winner team that is going to be caster team when everyone knows melee team has no chance at that

Very nice ideea because Glitch must make us more active to search to find all lg weapons.
Anyway, will be better if Glitch mention how many types of lg weapons will be. I mean how many type of lg crushers, how many type of lg piercers, or lg slashers, or lg whips, or lg staves, or lg bows, arrows or lg quivers ? Will be many types or just one type of each ?
We can see some pictures of lg weapons ?
Perhaps with this occasion will shorten arena time just to three or four months from now on.
