Default New character creation flow to retain new players

When first starting this game it is best to create multiple accounts right off the bat. Gives more options, more rrt to burn w/o using tcs as often, and it allows for increased generation. Therefore I would like to suggest a new character creation flow.

Character Creation flow:

New character -->face/background --> class --> Prompt to create 2nd party member --> face/background --> class --> Prompt to create 3rd.....

only characters made at the same time within this flow are able to trade amongst themselves regardless of account status. This way boss drops can be of more use and they have an option to beef out one character and gimp the others to branch off and go solo @ lvl 10 or continue to group fight.

This not only gives them 3 possible roads to travel and tons more rrt to burn. Also ensures they won't die between towns early on as long as they get gear before heading.

I think this will give a little more interaction first starting out but will help new comers better understand and become hooked. In order to maximize that I would also suggest mobs lvl 1-10 give trophy drops in a group as they would be solo. The tutorial would have to accommodate for this but I don't think it would be back breaking.

Also give the party leader 500-1,000 gold upon email verification.

And how would you see playing with 3 chars? Like simultaneously or not?

Plus if you could make 3 chars which could trade between themselves regardless of being paid or not it'd be enough to hit all crafting/artistry skills to 100

And that's something Glich would not benefit from so unless you change your idea a bit that won't be implemented. Personally i'd like something like that...

Alt tab is easy enough...anyone with a 21" screen or larger can easily fit 2 nod windows.

How long would it take them to hit all those skills? They would have to invest in all virts, have accel, and spend at least 1 yr doing so. It's not much of a hit when there are already toons in game that have achieved this or are close to doing so.

Even with 3 toons being able to trade freely among themselves it is still very limited. Epics would still require virts to trade or sell. And most would drop the other 2 party members to feed the one they like most and op it out in the teens. Then when they hit lvl 20 on that toon they may pick back up on the others.

Regardless this is a time consuming effort which requires some investment. At cap it would mean little just because all i have to do it trade a tc for everything i want on my alt now. A couple months ill give him a face and take all the tcs i gave him for the gold/loot.

Wallace straight up your argument is far from valid as your key debating points aren't really relevant

It was relevant until you put more info on your idea - and that's why i asked

With buying all virts and stuff i see no downside for Glich to approve it but it's of course Glich who needs to put i final wordand give final word

This is a great idea. I feel it would give new players added complexity and increase the odds of atleast one of their toons to be a little stronger early on, which would motivate them to stay. This could also increase the amount of timecards purchased by new players, as s/he would both generate skills faster and perhaps be inclined to buy a timecard to get that 25 suit piece for example. Or, get enough gold to get a taste of premium, hence wanting more....

One issue would be with when they are ready for a clan. Like a divorced mother of two; they would really want a package deal for invites to a clan(s).
