Default Valliant/malovent clans.
If you are in valliant clan, you should not be able to group with a malovent clan character. I've just had some level 29's alt group with me, and given his main my location to my alt Hionnn. I'm not bothered, as it's an alt and I really couldn't care less. But they should change this, just the same as 'warring clans' stopped the grouping.

At which point you wouldn't be able to group with 50% of nod. Terrible idea.

Yes, but it would stop the setup's and such. thats also a reason why you group with your clan. It makes sense. It's not exactly a big deal, and not all of nod is doing the clan wars. My main isn't, and lots of others are not.
