Dont really get this. They still have to put effort in to level up, theyre effectively farming anyway, just not looting.

I can make 3.5m in 10days farming daily rrt on a toon, does this make farming an exploit?

I did actually test it when boon came out, by rerolling and bosshunting, could only make 800-1.4m ish per reroll,though with higher zones now accesible probably guestimate around 1.6-1.8. Still not worth it.

This reminds me of a scheme we have here in the UK, its called ` dob in a dealer ` where you report drug dealers and get paid for it.

Seems like hops ` dobbed ` in select people while her dealer is safe and sound.

In all honesty, I have rerolled chars for drops as well, this really isn't a exploit. Its just that with boon, now it LOOKs like a exploit.

Change it to a 3month boss reset time, and fewer people will complain. If whoever decides to make 200 different alts and do boss drops for ALL these 200 alts, he deserves his profit... its alot of work. (With a 3month timer, u would need alot of time before an old alt is rerollable)

I guess I'm confused.

I'm still trying to figure out what was exploited and why the report was worth 50 time cards. Reroller's boon has been around for about 18 months or so. Plenty of people have rerolled once, or multiple times, since then. All of them have had the opportunity to re-kill bosses they had previously killed for loot, and used that loot to increase their gold supply. Heck, even Daer admitted to doing that when he complained to Glitchless right after the patch was released. Selling that boss loot is how a lot of lower levels players raise the gold to buy better gear or pay for PLs; ask JJ or a few other frequent rerollers.

There is, or was, a check on the system to keep a boss from being killed for loot more frequently than once a week. A few folks ran the math and concluded that killing all the bosses between the docks and around Goblin Swamp would net around one million, perhaps a bit more. So you do that four times a month, netting around four million game gold. Plenty of players gain that much or more monthly from chests, selling trophies, selling regular drops, getting luck with T30 resources, or getting real lucky with Yeti sales.

Again, maybe I'm being obtuse, but I don't understand what was broken.

But I do understand the part about filing a report naming people who apparently weren't guilty of doing this, whatever this was.

To xcasterx instead of spending ur time farming ur dailyl rrt on ur 1 toon u can be pling 5 alts a same time not looting or clicking chests and would have made more. i did test this my #s where accurate and while discussing the info in ventrillo with tro hopi heard about took the info and reported it 1st .

with legendaries, new gold is required. If new gold is bad, then I think Max coinage is more of a exploit than a boss drop *exploit, which in my opinion wasn't an exploit


And what the heck, daer gets 10 TC for his old exploit reports, qtiepie gets 20 TC for a REALLY real BGT exploit.

This fake exploits get 50 TC??? sigh...

Hey let up every1 I am the one that was doing this. I own it! Not that big of a deal. Lemme tell you exactly what was happening. The rest you can fight over if you like to fight.

What: I was rerolling toons to boon buff. Basically use trophies and gold to Buff the hell out of a toon. like 2 to 3 Bil exp each time till ~ 5 or 6 Bil then it takes to much effort to use up all the boon so they sit at cap till learings are good. Then do it 1 or two more times. now all my toons have enough exp to actually do something with them finishing around 9B. I would make an adventurer/Crafter or Adventurer/Trapper to max out the exp for these support toons. Oh and Adventurer/Trader when i was buying exp with gold(Saves Golds) PK helps a lot too when boon is out. When i would reroll the noobish toons they would get ~ 1 - 1.5 Mil in gold from drops depending on how much archery stuff they got off the higher level boss's.

And pretty much thats it.

Here is where i have issues because someone got facts wrong and exaggerated quantities you caused a patch that screws new players to Nodiatis.

Just so you know Max Coinage and Big Game Trophies made it to where you can farm more gold in 1 day than you can make by rerolling and doing a boss run(Boss run can only be done once every 7 days).

Making bosses only able to be done 1 time a month or every other month would have been good enough i dont think it warranted such a bbig reward either but that is besides the point.
Is Glitchlesses game and can reward whoever for whatever reason he wants,

It was borught up when boon was first put in and a 1 week timer put in .... no 1 got anything f
All this was what a capped player with a large amount of time can use the boon and bosses to do ....not truely a exploit but it had high potential to be bad for the game

Glitch said if more gold is needed in game he will add more skills to increase gold found ... He must not of liked the math and possibilities that could from this plan and simple
