v1.064 Time Cards for 6 hours RT

6 hours was a good call IMO. I can see myself buying PayPal timecards for this when I run into hell levels.

I take it that this RT goes into rollover when the server restarts in the morning and works with acceleration?

If that's the case, using a time card for 6 hours RT before the server restart so it turns into 6 hours RRT(assuming a skill of 10+ rollover cap) plus 3 hours of RT(not taking extended study into account) with a premium account and acceleration on. A person could burn through 9 hours of RT/RRT in 3.5 hours.

Do time cards used for RT stack? Would you have 12 hours RRT in the morning assuming a Rollover Cap skill of 70?

Good for Jeff's wallet. Probably.
Unbalancing? Depends on your perspective.

One person might take advantage of this and level an alt to run with their level 20+ main.

On the other hand, someone may do just what I suggested earlier and semi-powerlevel a character or two.

I can see a person doing this with a character they plan to PK with. It isn't something I would do for this reason becaue it's not really cost effective.

In any case, I guess you get what you pay for.

I don't see it being any good at all unless you also run an accelerator or a nub account personally..

If you run accel then it will be damn useful.

On a side note making it so these time cards could also give a day or two of accel/Grinder could also be very profitable..

Also it will probably stack over your rtt max: 12/6 hours remaining.

RRT is not a special type of time, it is just any time that is in excess of your normal day's time. So if you normally get 3 hours from your premium account and you have 0 hours currently then you use a card you'll have 3 normal hours RT and 3 RRT. You get limited as normal by your RRT cap when the day changes so dont use a time card for this unless you intend to use enough to make space for your next day's incoming time.

thanks jeff. been waiting for a few weeks for this to finally happen. this is, in my opinion, a much needed, and much appreciated update. kudos.

I noticed that time cards in auction don't list the +6 RT in the description and think it might be nice to add that in.

In light of this update, could there be an option to swap a grinder purchase into a number of timecards? Even soulbound would be nice

i agree with that. i doubt i will be using grinder, so its gonna sit dormant on my char.
