A confirm option for buddies to be added.

Also a 'show offline to all' and 'show offline to non-buddies' toggle could be added, so your icon doesn't have to appear in the Local player list, except to PKs or if you are a PKer. I have no idea if this would take a lot of code or not, but I'm suggesting it in case it's not too much work

I'm going to support this. As it is, once you know someone has gone PK, you can add them to your buddy list (no permission required) and have the omniscience of always knowing when they're online. Even if you're PK yourself, this may not be a good thing.

On the other hand, Jeff probably doesn't want to deal with buddy requests himself, so perhaps make it a toggle?

You can't add a pk to the buddy list.

I've already tried that.
