It's been suggested (I think.) It's a good idea, but I wonder if it's as easily done as said.

i personally think the gate potion/recall system is just fine as is. it doesnt get rediculously cheap at higher levels like other games.

having the ability to teleport anywhere anytime would ruin the mechanics already in place for adventuring skills.

also, a hard thing to swallow but i believe they indend to slow you down on purpose to waste rest time and make it harder to level and get to the end of the game fast. a game based on this rest time idea has to fall back on inconvinience to slow down progress. if they slow you down, they increase the chance that you might play longer (if you already like the game) because you wont finish the game nearly as soon.

being able to teleport encourages powerlevelling and discourages long journeys taking hours but rewarding at the end. honestly i would prefer a game that has very little powerlevelling like this one. in order to get one character to a higher level faster, another one has to stall progress (or wait until out of rest time). either way its still a slow process.
