Recall and Gate Potions: Location Memory
I would like to suggest that a small notification box or picture be placed on the bottom bar of each player's interface, reminding them of the square or zone at which they last used a Gate potion or potions, and thus telling them where they would end up if they were to use a Recall potion or potions.
Similarly, a separate notification box or picture could helpfully remind each player of the city from which they most recently departed, and thus inform them where they would end up if they were to use a Gate potion or potions.
This simple change would allow players to decide whether or not to use their supplies of potions, without having to guess at where they would end up, if it has been quite some time since they used the potions, and they cannot remember the locations of teleportation.

This is an excellent suggestion. I haven't used a gate potion in over a year. I have NO idea where I'd go if I used a recall potion now.

Whisp has just cleverly suggested that a blue marker be placed on each player's paper map of the Nodiatis landscape, to verify the location where a Gate Potion was last used. In this way, players who have forgotten the location to which a Recall Potion would teleport them would immediately be able to see the approximate area. Furthermore, this blue marker could be used to help players plan their trips effectively.
Along this line of thought, I suggest that a green marker be added on the town into which the player last entered, thus clarifying the location to which a Gate Potion would teleport them.
Please share any further ideas or opinions on this subject.
