It has been suggested A LOT of times. There are those who agree (including me) and those who disagree. Kinda need a final word from glitch so people can stop asking.

I supported this the last time the idea came up, so I'll support it again.

There are times that events get in the way of playing this game. Folks have paid for their RT and RRT. It would be helpful if that time wasn't simply lost when real life events interfere with playing this game. That has happened to me often enough.

An alternative to granting some sort of super acceleration is the also often requested "vacation mode," which would allow a player to indicate that he or she would not be playing for a certain number of days. RT and RTT accumulation would cease, as would the days remaining countdown for paid status. If a player in vacation status did have the opportunity to play a bit, they could pop in, use whatever RT and RTT they had in the bank, but they would not gain more at the next reset until they turned off "vacation mode."

A lot of games have some version of the vacation mode TJ mentioned and it works pretty well,I would much rather see that than some sort of super accel

Prerequisites for a "vacation mode"
1. No less than 1 week long. Prevents misuse of the function.
- - Possibly, deactivating before the first week is over entitles a penalty
2. Makes you an N for the duration (forgo accel, gain 1 hour RRT per day, prevent usage of AH, tm, etc...)

Additions:
- When you log in after a certain period of vacation, the system asks whether you'd like to deactivate the option
- What happens for arena peoplez:
- - 1: Rating stops to go down, but fighting is totally impossible
- - 2: The team disbands (don't go on vacation in a warzone, it'll cost ya)
- - 3: Same as always, lose rating for not playing, but be able to play while on vacation
- What happens to PKs:
- - Automatic: Deactivates all PK bonuses
- - 1: Auto-redeem after a long while of vacation? (make people forget you)
- - - Not totally sure about that one, but it's a possibility. The time needed would be based on the number of days the char was PK or his PK points.
- - 2: PKs can't take a vacation (murderers get no respite)

Why gain 1 hour rrt per day? Because it's a straight minimum, and for people that will want to move from one town to the next, travel mode will not be an option.

Support. I would be able to play more nod with this; meaning I buy more virts, grinder, etc. This would be true for many players. Also I could have a life.
