Default uncommon and rare weapons and pets

Perhaps this has been discussed previously, but epicurious serves its purpose for epic weapons and pets, however, uncommons and rares are what they are.

How about a skill(s) to increase the accuracy of these non-epic items as well? I have considered that many non-epic weapons allow for better enchants, but there are some good weapons and pets that go un-used due to accuracy. If this somehow throws the order of things off; please explain why and I'll be glad to accept the reasoning.

Even simply an uncommon/rare pet accuracy skill like "Peticurious"? I would appreciate any input on my suggestions, and I thank you all for reading this post.

If this is true, then why have an epicurious skill? Not all epics begin with "good" accuracy. This idea is focused towards lower-level normal to good non-epic items and higher-level excellents mostly. I understand them being unable to reach an "epic" status, but perhaps my idea could have a level 60 cap with 20-40-60. This makes sense, since all epics do not need level 100 to have epic accuracy.

Todd's idea may have some merit.

Speaking strictly as a bow user, there are some very nice bows that do not get used too much because their accuracy is frankly pretty lousy. Even with high dexterity and trained eye, they still miss way too often. I know, I've tried many of them.

Some sort of skill as suggested by Todd would increase the utility of these little used items. Doing so would increase the number of different weapons actually in play. Not everyone would be running around using the same handful of epic weapons.

While this might further depress the market for epic weapons, but it could increase the market for rare and uncommon items. That could be a good thing. It could also enable players who can't afford to purchase epic items the opportunity to still use weapons with decent accuracy.

Indeed, and how about having a stave to survive lower levels if it is used purely for crushing as gems develop. Also, how about exceptional accuracy on that high-level stave? Puppies are under-rated as well......

Just because you see capped players with 100 agi raping everyone doesn't mean agi is worthless.

Agi is far from worthless, my archer could Kite well over 50% of the time in my opinion when I had over 400 Agi (not many toons have more than this so I get full % from kite).. but it almost actually seemed bugged how much I acutally kited..


For example, My ranger would last longer than Jada did during battle and he had 3000 HP less than Jada..

I havnt noticed any difference between when I had 0 and when I had 100 epicurious tbh...also am wondering if the aura from 99 staff is affected by shared bliss...it seems not which makes it a useless proc when u still need r5 haste in aura slot so no slot saving and no stacking of haste.

Again, far from useless..

Sure it doesn't do the best %, however it DOES save a gem slot..
Look at it like 18% (?) gem haste, flame call, r5 sloth, and a r10 stoic..
VS
Flame Call,gem haste, stoic.. you can't have the best of all worlds.. the staff is better than the rune, which IS a waste IMO cause you can have much better bonuses rather than gem haste from a rune..


But back on topic, I do notice a great deal of bonus per each epicurious level on black mobs in long fights but in terms of short fights sometimes it seems "broken".. Same way with traveling.. With 85 Climbing and 89 Exploration and accel you'd imagine I'd avoid a hell of alot more than I do.. I mean sometimes I can go 20 or 30 squares without a fight... others I can only get 1 square and get into constant fights..

I understand it all probability but I still feel its all broken somehow..

As healer or dot haste is as useful an aura as u can get (other than angelic) and shared bliss on a r5 haste makes a big difference...wasnt talking about the rune just the aura...but since I have gone way off topic I will shhh now.
