Default Need Help on Fire and Ice

I searched.

Honestly, carefully, but can't find any on the details of how Fire and Ice works.

I know the description, by heart. However, it only says, there are xxx% chance of happenning. Yet, it says nothing about the AMOUNT being induced, either the heal amount from an attack pet or the dam amount from a healing pet.

Let alone the relation (additive or non) with other pet skills.

Can any1 please clarify? Thank you.

fire and ice causes, on those attacks for a heal pet, to act as an attack pet. meaning that it gets all the bonuses to attack damage, and doesnt have the penalty of being a heal pet attacking while your at full HP, plus you get the heals.

Thank you very much, Smash...

However, could you please elaborate more? OK, let me give you the data (real gear and stats on my toon idiotnight):

I am wearing a swan and a bat at the same time (esp. to compare them with fire and ice, yet I could not tell the values showing up in combat in the which from which way...). I am not wearing any whips. I have fire and ice lvl 61, petmanship 74, taming 53, loyalty 52, predacity 53, wound 53, ferocity 55, stalking 21. (toon lvl 73, farming in ocean of sorrow vs. 74/75 mobs)

Could any1 please give me an idea on how much (as precise as possible) would the max heal from the bat and the max dam from the swan could be?

Thank you.

If you're not using whips, then taming and loyalty won't do anything at all.

BM secondary class with sec spec @ 7 will give 8.56% bonus to all attacks and heals.
Predacity affects chance for a crit, doesn't do anything for the base damage though.
Ferocity 55 will give 14.75% bonus to damage. From a lot of testing, ferocity does not affect pet heals at all, ever.
Stalking 21 will give a 21% bonus to attacks and heals, but will slow down your pet by a lot (slows by less if using whips)

So, the bat ... normal max damage is 38.

38*1.0856*1.21 = 49.91 (rounded to 50) max heal.

The swan ... normal max damage is 16
16*1.0856*1.1475*1.21 = 24.11 (non-crit). In addition, that pet can crit like any other pet, for 1.5* damage (so 36), plus a 36 bleed due to good wound skill.
Note though that +STR stones on the swan will improve the damage somewhat, though probably not by much, as it is a lot lower level than the mobs you are fighting.

If it means anything to you, my BM is a Vamp/BM in that order.. He uses Boas and has roughly 84 in all BM skills and he can heal for upwards of 250~ (really like 240-260 +the 12% he gets from Vamp bonus per pet attack)

But all Fire an Ice does is improve the chance to heal, it doesn't increase the actual heal. As loyalty/taming would.. Ferocity isn't supposed to affect heals, even tho I feel it does help the average (I'm pretty sure your heal is based off your actual pet damage, but I've been told otherwise..)..
