Default Clan Skills.

basic, simple idea really.

Make a new skills page, like the ones we have, but as "Clan Skills". have like a skills window icon down near the backpacks.

open it up, and you have 19 different skills, that can be leveled in unique ways, that benefit everyone in the clan.

Have these higher tier skills unlock when XX amount of skill levels are put into lower tier.

soo atm, there are 5 tiers, (0+, 20+, 40+, 60+, 80+) have it keep at 5 tiers, and have 4 per tier, 3 in the last though. once something like, 25 skill levels in the 0+ tier skills are done, you unlock the 20+ tier. then you need 25 in the 20+ and 50 in the 0+ to unlock the 40+ and so on and so forth, till you get to tier 5, where you need 25 of the 60+, 50 of the 40+, 75 of the 20+ and 100 of the 0+.

The skills would be leveled through new mini games, that are undertaken in groups of clan members, which promotes working with your clan to benefit the whole of the clan.

things like:

the shooting star:

As a group of 3, collect as many of the stars that are falling from the top of the screen, beware of the falling anvil as it will shatter your basket and you will lose all the stars you collected and unable to collect more this round.

Have like 4 different color/size stars worth more or less exp each, which then goes into a skill for the clan like:

Star Refining:

With the resources you collect from the Shooting Stars, you are able to add +1 to your crafting level, much like invention/naturlist, every 5 levels. At a skill level of 100, it will add +20.

and then have other skills that increase the bonus you get from runes.

others that increase your ter/dom/rp gain in clan fights.

and make some unique skills, that benefit everyone that will join the clan, that cant be gained any other way, that way clans are growing, people will join different clans to get the bonus's they have gotten as they are all passively done.

NOTE: The higher level will work, you will be unable to get the same benefit from 2 clans. so at max, you can get say +20 crafting levels, instead of +40.

I believe that this would open up clans as a more fun, better place to be, much like runes did when first came out, and give people a reason to start joining them. It would also alleviate the boredom some people have in the game, with 19 new mini games, unlockable when you hit certain pre-reqs and give people a genuine renewal in their interest of the game.

any ideas/comments on it are welcome. if you disagree with the idea, say why though, so it can be refined into a better working idea, that more people will agree with.

also, keep in mind please, that ive wrote this as i thought it, after a short discussion with Todd in game, and most of it is straight from my mind, and therefore likely to be hard for some people to understand

cheers

Having specific clan auras, if you will, could be based on a collective average. This would motivate each clannie to either participate in side challenges, and or raise a certain skill. Upon entering a clan; a new member would be expected to raise certain(s) skills to increase the current month's aura, chosen by the clan master(s). If the chosen aura conflicts with the clanny's skills, i.e. fishing when s/he is a miner, then side games would be assigned at some point. The whole "just leave your RP thing, or participate in fake clan war" is getting stale tbh.

Or Glitchless could just award a random aura of def on the top 50 clans who reach a previous month's challenge on total average of a certain skill, based on a 50 or more clan, idk
