Goblin Mule!
So, Its pretty awesome when you farm all day, and in the end realize you have 2,500 trophies but also realize how sucky it is going to be to travel back and forth trying to port them all to town. This is where the Goblin Mule comes in handy!
For a mere 1,000 gold per trip, you could go to the Inn and buy a voucher for 1x Goblin mule. He'll follow you everywhere you go! Whether walking or gating/recalling. Every point in your bartering skill lowers the price by .25%, effectively lowering the price of each trip to 750 at a skill of 100 (makes it cheaper than using gates depending on your level at that point). The goblin mule has a 750 rock limit and will activate as soon as you load at least 1 item onto it (via the right-click menu 'Load onto mule') and then complete his task upon your arrival to any town (as long as he is carrying at least 1 item). Adventuring exp with the mule activated suffers a -30% penalty, and the mule requires 20 skill in packmule.
Each day, the voucher for the goblin mule moves to a different town (kind of like how gates and recalls do now) but vouchers do not diminish at reset. Trophies in the inventory of the Goblin Mule still suffer the reset penalty.

Really depends on how fast you farm. Transporting my trophies gets really expensive sometimes

The most i've gated with was 684 rock. I don't know where the hell you got your calculations from.

i had 8.5k rock on me a day or 2 ago from 1 tc worth of farming....
and max you can gate with, at decumberance at 100, should be around 1199.

If you really have that many stuff to carry plus you have enough inventory slots to put them all on, the best way (currently) to get back town is to die.
Initiate a fight with normal weight and then pick up everything. Do not fight back. If no one helps you, you need to lose some rt (depending on your skills and lvls), but that is just some gold in the end. If some1 can help you (like your own alt), use a pvp (like clan battle or something), you do not even lose rt. (but still need to heal if you still have rt left)

dying to a mob is retarded. cheaper to gate/recall.
what i do is: i start a fight, then put everything in inventory, and escape.
as i fight next to town, it escapes me back to town, so that i can use em all. no matter how encumbered i am. best ive done so far, is around 8500/355 which is well over the limit to move with

now unless you are doing something utterly stupid such as lugging around your dye press I really cant imagine anyone exceeding such a limit without botting.

you start with a base 100, which means with 100 decumberance its 400 rock, therefore 1199 you can gate with at max.
also, boon or being a PK, makes you exceed such an amount, with ease, aswell as farming for multiple TCs worth of rrt in a row without using trophies.
