Default New Ad Campaigns

We are investing a lot of money into new advertising for Nodiatis. It is important that new players feel welcome to the game and are not berated when asking questions in civil chat typical of new players regardless of how dumb they may sound. In addition to the new rules in place to prevent such abuse we are asking that you please accept these new players as potential allies or at the least potential fodder for future battles. You may not have asked dumb questions in the beginning because you are a gaming genius, but chances are you are having fun playing alongside people who did.

glad to hear your recruiting new people.

as to accepting them as allies and what not, the problem with that is that most clans (not all) require paid status and/or donations to keep the runes active in the clan that would benifit the new players alot.

any chance of adding an ingame incentive for clans to recruit new players?? i have no problem with them in my clan, its just we need members donating to be able to afford the rune cost

i fully support that, glitch. we need new blood.

edit: am master of a clan. and i accept unpaid players. if they are decent people. but its truly hard to manage a clan with lot of unpaids in it. its getting better in TRUTH lately since most are old members and are paid and try to help a bit. but still i am donating about 1-2mil rp each month to run our ~2,7mil rp worth of runes.
if there was some kind of way for N's to get rp in it would be nice..i recall threads of dismantling found runes for rp or simillar..could widen that on all found items..make it possible to dismantle em for clan rp in high of sell to store price?

Glitch you should encourage people to help by making some sort of apprentice system and rewarding players for helping the new players. Reason is higher lvled players wont help because of incidents that have happened before that caused us to have trust issues (scamming etc). So if there is such a thing as rewards for helping it would hopefully help.


I can see two problems with this... 1. high lvl players will make alts and try to use this system and 2. its not really helping because people are nice but because there is reward for doing so


BUT there may be some sort of connection made at some point and players will then play along with each other without rewards being in mind.

Its just a suggestion.

thats the exact reason i wont help new people anymore.

i recruited a new player, was around lvl 5, paid for his monthly fee in the clan, bought him a BC, bought a stack of 90 combats, lent him some gold.

after a few days of constant begging in the clan, some others kicked him, so he then put me on ignore and started bad mouthing the clan, despite the help he had been given, by not just me but others aswell.

and while not all new people are like this, those that are, sour it for everyone else.

reward system..hmm..would not need a real reward as gold or items..just some kind of appreciation. the problem resulting with it is if others can see who helps the most.. all scammers will run to the helpers and try to beg. and these helpers will get frustrated and stop helping.

honestly, id prefer a clan based rewards, something that let people know that the clan helps noobs, and benifits everyone in it, and therefore isnt a personal reward people can abuse.

Tical accepts unpaid players. Our runes aren't great (as is to be expected in a clan full of mostly lower level unpaid players), but we're always ready to accept players new to the game and help them learn the ropes.

It's great to see you going after some new players,there should be a lot more people playing this game than there is.

Welcoming new players and helping them does not mean buying them gear and giving them gold,in fact that is the fastest way to ruin a game for a new player! Just letting them know theyre welcome and part of the community (which includes being joked around with and at just like the older players),along with a little advice when asked for will do more good than all the gold,BCs,and clan invites in the game.

I have notice quiet a few more players and for some reason they always go to me asking things, might be the champion tittle or something and i ALWAYS , ALWAYS help them with the best advices that i could provide.

Well where i was trying to get is that, maybe adding tittles to toons that can provide a little more confidence to the new people so they feel comfortable asking those particulars toons might help , english not working properly atm but im sure u got the idea, adding tittles to toons like Noob helper, or things like that might be a nice addition so new people know who they should ask or etc.

Or something like that idk.
