Some resources have remained highly priced, ores being chief amongst them. t30 dyes used to sell for 250k easily. They now sell for around 160k. That's mainly due to the fact that many people began foraging after the 99 epics were introduced and the demand for dyes surged. That demand has dropped off a lot, but supply remains steady and so the price has stablised at 160k-170k.
The prices of ores will drop too as more players are working on mining, mainly because t30 ores sell for 200k+. Far, far more profitable than something like foraging.
Players are having to do what all people do in a recession (and we are in a recession - in real life and on Nod), they have to diversify. They have to expand their avenues of revenue. In other words, they spend a lot more time and effort to make their gold - and even then it is still less than what they use to make from a lot less work and effort.
