pkk'er boon?

How about an item that, for a cost, perhaps similar to compass, and NOT usable if you are a pk (if you pk with it, it is destroyed),

that allows the pkk'er to see in all the squares AROUND themselves? I.e. a better/faster hunter of pk's?

Could be a substanstial gold sink, and possibly motivate pkk'ers to chase pk'ers about.

no, it would destroy PKing. as is, you can PKK people easy enough with a team of 3/

with this you could buy 1 for each of them, and then line em up and see 9 squares across at a time. no ****ing way in hell.

it isnt hard to pkk people, if your willing to do it, stop trying to destroy those PKing cause your too ****ing lazy to either kill them, or risk death by going pk yourself.

lol, I read the top post and assumed this nonsense would be met with waves of support given all the "no risk" of being a pk and "eliminate pk system" and such that seems to be flying around these forums.

Nice to see some getting on board with telling the pk & bonus hater types go hunting or to grow a pair and try it themselves.

this is the most failed anti pk idea ever.. why not better an item to allow u to locate a pk for 5 gold?.... jeeeeeebus... maybe pkks do need motivation.. i know i lost mine at some point but needs to be a reasonable one

i am pretty sure he didn't mean you have the PK's location handed to you, it just makes you able to see a tiny bit better

So around a player at a particular moment u have... NW N NE W E SW S SE... plus u see your own square... that adds up to 9 squares at once... And u currently see only 1 at once... so .... 9/1 = 9


Now... if u have 3 pkks..... 3 x 9 = 27... located each one above or below each other 3 squares...

ah sorry it would only be the squares on n s e w axis.

reguardless, alot of exploiting whiners sure complained about it, even as an idea.

the bonus is already used solely to exploit and infintely easier to get and protect then it is to kill pk'ers. The only one's complaining are people who exploit the pk'ing system.

no its not. its used by some to get their toons stronger.

im complaining, and if i go PK, its a spree till im killed, ive never farmed in PK mode before.

Have you ever been a PK or done anything mildly resembling PKKing? PKing is far more difficult when there are actually people out to PKK you.
I'm not a PK. I'm a casual PKKer. It's quite fun, actually, and I've been successful a couple of times.
Also, note that Opspecial got taken down today. Note that Rpbns and Vrathak (MA alt) were taken down a few weeks ago. Note that Driiveby seems pretty good at going on short sprees, then dying. Note that a few of my clannies also seem to be good at dying.
Don't think that PKers have it easy because you can't hunt them perfectly (which, by the way, this PKKer boon compass thingy would let you do once you first caught them as they can only move about as fast as you). They just get some extraordinary bonuses for having the balls to risk their skills, armor, and other gear to people who actually hunt.

Thats a fair comment.. The idea is flawed however in it's assertion.

I'd not be opposed to others changes that prevent to systematic decay of the games econ.

I played RWK, jeffs baby, for years, long before i played nod. The same thing that happened in RWK can happy in NOD, which is too large a collection of incredible power of the economy, in too few hands. In the end it drastically dissueded people from playing RWK as it was met to be played, because the overwhelming wealth and thus, power, held by so few, was a severe disincentive to even trying.

If a few people can monopoly the economy in this game, the end result is fewer paying customers for jeff, which hurts EVERYONE in nod. The game is more fun with lots of players, and more dynamic.

More ideas, less trolling are always welcome, but the system as it stands for pk'ing is still strictly to easy to "game." And im certainly not alone in having that opinion.

PK's die all the time really, and after the last month where quite a few capped PK's bit the dust and exploit chars died..

You don't need any special item to find them, just go look in places that are unusual and have high amounts of trophies being sold at low prices..

Wasn't hard to find Opspecial tbh, all you had to do was walk the Jun River, or scan Rog..

So your able to cleansweep an entire area with this "item" in waaaay less then half the time because even with it going 4 ways, you can still search 3 sqs wide..

Lol @ this thread. PK=steal one item and run away, if you loot. PKK=brutally murder and loot the corpse of the thief, often making millions of gold. Somehow I don't think PKK's need a buff or support of any kind.
