Trading Suggestion.

With such an advanced trading system, why is it no possible for a person to purchase (without having to open trade) a select number of objects from another player..


Entirely too often do I see someone who is AFK for the night with 77 of the object I want, yet I cannot purchase it because they are not at the keyboard.


The suggestion is simple. Make it possible to actually enter the amount of items you wish to purchase from a player on the AH.. Say he has 77, and you only need 3.. You should be able to only buy those 3.

support. it irritates me off when people are afk and only have stacks of 50 when I need maybe a weird number like 18.

I support it... i had to price all my planks at full price because everything too k too much space in my storage :/ It gets kinda annoying to have to stop battle, wait for someone to open trade, etc... I mean it takes like 5 minutes sometimes, and you know us op casters... we can fight 100 battles in that timeframe

i like the idea... and its good..... but i kinda like it how it is... the whole 'trust' issue adds a little depth to the game, politics.

Because of the way the current trade system works, I think you would need to add features on both sides of the auction.

The buyer would need the "Buy 1," "Buy 10," and "Buy select number" options, but the seller would also need a toggle for the allowance of "Sell each at." This way, it is up to the seller if he is willing to sell the items individually or not.

Codewise, I don't know how feasible it is, but it's an interesting idea.

Sounds like a good idea, but only with an option that the seller can toggle. I don't want anyone to buy 6 trophs, I'd like purchasing the whole stack to be the only option for the buyer.

Yea, that's and understandable request.. but it's also easier to just do as Rogue said and make it toggled.. Rather than Buy X amount, altho it would most be used for trophies..
