b/c there are soooo many gem ideas in the thread... I thought I would seperate this and start it's own thread... hopefully Glitch will make this sticky...
I will begin with auras I have already posted in the gem thread.

b/c DOT's cannot crit and have yet to have an aura to effect them I propose:

Black Magic

Aura of Intense Duration:

Rank 5: (black magic lv 75) This Aura cuts DOT times 1/2 and multiplies damage by 3

Aura of Converse:
redirects reflected and mirrored damage due to auras back to the original target

Black Magic

Rank 1: Redirects upto 4 damage back towards original target
Rank2: Redirects upto 6 damage back towards original target
Rank3: Redirects upto 9 damage back towards original target
Rank4: Redirects upto 13 damage back towards original target
Rank5: Redirects upto 17 damage back towards original target

aura of sleepingfox is awsome:
rank 1:sleepingfox does an extra 100 damage
rank 2:sleepingfox does an extra 200 damage
rank 3:sleepingfox does an extra 300 damage
rank 4:sleepingfox does OVER 9000!! damage

i think this is an awsome aura idea XD....lol

Black Magic, Aura of Delusions.
Incrementally increases your enemy's chance to miss by X% (rank1-7)

White Magic, Repention.
Gives a small % chance per rank (incremental) to completely negate an attack.

Red Magic, Aura of Fury.
A detrimental aura that, when active, increases YOUR damage by (RANK1): 0.2% for every 100 damage dealt on you.

Rank2: Increase your damage by 0.4% for each 100 damage dealt to you.
Rank3: Increase your damage by 0.6% for each 100 damage deal to you.
Etc...

I went with 100 damage instead of "per enemy attack" which is what Aura of Thorns does. Because when it is 100 damage before it procs it will work equally against fast-low-damage-weapons and slower-high-damage-weapons. Since Thorns is disadvantageous for fast attackers.

Hey Rogue, next time you post an idea don't make it UBER IMBALANCED. You're NOT a goddamn newbie, 3x more damage on DOT gems is A LOT so act like a player who knows a bit about game balance please <3

but Dot's dont happen all at once... and they dont crit... so it is kinda balanced :P... also no flare up gem for DOT's

rank 4:sleepingfox does an extra OVER 9000!! damage that way its extra not normal :P

Keep the aura ideas coming, we could use an injection of some interesting new auras so players need to really think about using those gem slots wisely. Just don't expect any 3x damage multipliers to get implemented.

I'd like to see an aura that prevents redirected damage (not reflected damage). High-speed low-dmg weapons like the 90 piercer can get single-handedly crippled by a good redirection gem, and I honestly think it's silly that an already OP whip user gets an irresistable proc to redirect damage.

Black/red Auras:

Aura of Affliction- For each miss/parry your enemy makes on your or one of your group members they will be dealt X amount of disease damage over X second.

Aura of Bloody Embrace- Each time you perform a successful "Bleed" on your enemy your min and max damage is increased by X.X% (would suggest something like 0.2)

Aura of Shadow- This aura grants you a +% chance to be missed by your enemy.

Aura of Encumber- If active when the battle starts all your enemy's will begin battle stunned as if they were moderately encumbered.

Aura of Delusions- Aura grants an X% chance when enemy's attack, for enemy's to strike one of their own group members.

Aura of Decrepify- Decrease your enemys min/max damage.

now that jedimasterca agrees with my awsome aura idea <.<...

also, here is a real aura idea. since i have noticed the auras that lower/reflects/mirrors attack damage by a few points, why not one that increases min and/or max damage by some (not a percent, just damage, and this added damage is not affected by armour)

aura of piercing.
Rank1: adds a minimum x damage that is not affected by armour

this would be useful for fighting large armour users.

once every aura refresh(7 seconds)
everyone(thing) in combat has a chance chance (5% per rank) of being dazed mezzed or stunned for 1second per rank of this gem.

need something random xD
