New "can't go below 50 in a stat" not calculating mitigated penalties

On my character Hobreezi

-With my shield off, I have 67 Mre. My shield is the 78 epic with negative 22 to Mre. It won't allow me to equip it.
-If i take off my Mre +3(-18) Epic 67 helm, my Mre goes to 77.
-Then if I put on my shield it shows 62 Mre, which means i've just lost 15 points of the original 22 from mitigated penalties.
-The helm was only causing me to lose 10, but it still won't let me equip it.
-Therefor, I should be able to equip my shield when it shows 67 Mre.

nor does it take stats enhancement into account it seems

its still possible to go below 50 though (as long as you first put points in a stat, equip your armor with - in that stat, and later redistribute again and put no points in that stat, however u wont be able to change any gear or equip runes/

I had a feeling it would be like that but then I was like nah no way Jeff would forget to take mitigated penalties into consideration, so I never check.

well its costly to redistribute so who is exploiting who here? :/ I can now see it "you cannot redistibute with enchanted equipment on, please unequip it and try again."
