Crafting recipes for final items have again been made to use lesser quality resources.

Resin is now more evenly spread out through the towns. The first 5 resins can be found at Castille, the next 5 resins can be found at Stronhad, etc. This should make finding resins easier but you'll still need to plan ahead for doing large crafting batches.
