Default silk theory

heroic essence and silk have 1 thing in common. they're based on trophies to get them. (at least this is the theory). so the more trophies you get. the higher odds of getting 1 or more of these items.

boon doesn't affect heroic ess. this is to prevent getting way more income just for having boon.

does boon still affect silk?

could be rng but. group farming blaze and alas. alas has 1 rare stack of silk with no boon. blaze has 16.

bit higher bgt (96 vs 100) and boon are only differences i can think of to cause such a massive difference. (and ofc rng).

this alone could explain why s2 struggled with silk so much compared to s1. this was a constant argument "i farm redwood on s1 and get countless rare silk a day. yet you on s2 claim you don't get anything". how many people on s1 got perma boon and/or are rerolling every few months/years. tons got boon to increase the silk supply on s1. then on s2 everyone is focusing on getting resources and such. with lack of resources and masters giving up your build and rerolling to a new build wasn't as practical. a few people like pale and umbra we never really noticed rerolling. quite possibly only a few people on s2 had boon thus most of them got basically no silk.

Just double checked to be sure: boon does not benefit silk drops, heroic drops, or gates/recalls, etc. It only benefits trophies. Items that are based off of trophies are based off of the pre-boon amount.

Does being grouped affect those drops negatively? I.e. if I'm duo-farming heroic redwood, will each character get 50% trophies (same total number) and then half the hero ess per trophy that they would've gotten due to farming grouped?

Just wondering because people have been saying for a while that group heroic farming sucks.

For slow effects, use the slow % but as a negative.

Just repeat for multiple effects.

DO NOT multiply by 1+slow% to get your new delay. 1*1.4 is not the same as 1/0.6 and your answer will be wrong.

The S2 issue wasn't a lack of drops, it was people hoarding.

If 2 people with the same loot bonuses kill 1 creature it's the same loot, split between them.
