can't shatter my gems using shortcuts

Prior to the updates that took place on 3/17 and 3/18 I was able to hold down the key set to gem slot one and hold down control to shatter a gem.

Per Nod's blazing academy, section NBA18:

Gem shortcuts:
Shift + left click a gem slot to activate auto casting
Right click gem in play to remove from play
Hold alt or control while pressing gem hotkey to remove from play

This feature is no longer working for me please advise if this is due to an error on my side or if the updates affected it in some way.

You need to make sure you don't have your shift, ctrl, or alt key actually bound to an action. You can /copybinds Epicbeast if you can't find where you might have a potential keybind that would conflict with your ability to hold a modifier key.
