				 Possible Crafting Change
We believe the cost of crafting non-legendary armors, weapons, and pets is too high compared to crafting the legendary versions of similar type. In order to rectify this, we are considering decreasing the resource requirements to craft non-legendary weapons, armors, and pets by half or more -- either decreasing the tier by 1 or halving the amount or both. This would not affect resins. This would hopefully reopen the potential to craft such items, making consumable recipes that drop more likely to be used, and giving players better options before investing in expensive LGs.
Please let us know your thoughts on this, and if you can think of any negative repercussions.

very nice this would help newly capped players( not capped alts) achieve better characters for the long run to full LG suits/weps

Reducing the costs might make crafting epics profitable, something that hasn't been possible since legendairies were released, and even before then only 99s (specifically weapons) really turned a profit.
On the other hand, epic drops would probably be worth less...but many epics are just sold to store anyway.

Overall, as a weaponcrafter, I support.

Gotta love blind support without even thinking about it. I know the subject of 99s was brought up in the first thread about the dust resource game, but not here, so here's my breakdown:
For lower level items, the main cost was the dusts...after a week or three, this should be totally rectified, and all lower level items that are "hard" to find, aka, sub 80ish items should be ok, and rather cheap to craft again.

For the 80s, once high tier dusts drop a little bit, which they should a little bit, but no telling how far, they will be slightly cheaper, but these are also dropped quite a bit around nlake/dmv area.

So lastly 99s, and gators...I think dusts dropping wont really help them, as it's still the resources overall atm that is the heavy hitter, even if dusts cut in 1/2, wont change the overall price much. So dropping the tier by 1(~1/2 resource price), or making them only take 1 instead of 3 perhaps(~1/3 resource price), would be a good solution. I dont see dusts alone changing them much.

So, TL;DR, change 99s mats, don't change anything else, is my opinion.

One other thing I would like to see is to make crafting with Accel/DA on not make the items SB. It had it's place, but now is just a hassle. |
