One thing i have a question about is that each resource you do gives different xp. from testing mining and foraging at skill 100 and close learning skills that would also affect the xp mining gave half as much as foraging. yet they are relatively similar time to finish the mini game. Maybe it would be better if each mini game gave xp equal to the average time it takes to do. A certain amount of xp per second taken. |

I think it already goes that way Paul, at least gardening gives me the more xp, and it's the longest minigame i do (mining, fishing, gardening) isn't it? |

@ paul some resourcing takes longer eg trapping which takes a day.

If you read what i said it takes around the same time to mine and to forage yet foraging gives twice as much xp. I just tested gardening foraging and mining all at 100 with my toons. mining gave 550 gardening gave 860 and foraging gave over 1.1k xp. and what I suggested was to find the average time it took to do a mini game and give a certain amount of xp per second it takes. that would be the fairest way. As it stands it is not |

Paulo, are you sure those are the numbers? and that one of those toons didnt have a different xp bonus (trapper class, boon, pk, etc) that others didnt? Because foraging giving more xp than gardening is messed up (actually any other resource giving more xp than gardening should be the sign of a problem).

again no, trapping should be the most exp, as you can only do it once a day per trap

Chloe, trapping takes a whole day to be set, but the minigame takes close to no time (thus few rt consumed) and no effort, so there is no point you should get more xp than gardening gives.Yes you can do it only once a day, but just set half of your storage with traps and it will give more overall xp than mining.

forraging gets more exp than mining as mining has 100% success rate whereas forraging can either fail or you just not find the plants in time. forraging also has a lead in time of "looking for plants". only comparing those 2 as it appears at first glance they take the same amount of time.

the point is you can cut wood all day long, or mine all day long for exp, while trapping you can only do once a day per trap, and unless you have a bazillion storage (which you dont, you have a MAX of 6 rows, and even then you cant stack what you find so you need even more space) you are limited to the amount of times you can resource a day, where the other is limited to the amount of boredom you can take 1e a town.

I like it. It's nice getting SOMETHING from resourcing, so not getting exp sucked.
