I have idea. Since Riposte is a counterattack using a parry, how about when you Parry, your delay goes to 0, and thus you counterattack.

My idea:

Riposte
Level 40 Protection Skill
Every point in this skill grants a .25% chance to instantly attack your opponent when parrying.

no, because you aren't sure that you will hit your enemy in a critical area, or that you will hit them at all.

when countering a hit, the enemy has nearly no way to avoiding it cause (s)he is caught up in the act of attacking.
could make this counter skill depend on agi? for both sides?

daer, thsi is not reflect..this is counter ;P
hmm...i see a problem in it after all. it would be an awesome skill for high delay weapons. since the dmg they would do would be far higher and same chance of happening. if a black boss with high delay countered your quick piercing attacks....ouch.....

this reposite skill whit numbers your adding would be a mele buff that would make em alot better then any other class (not counting casters as they would be able to use skill as well). more archery nerf in end and falling behind.

I do not support this skill at all.

mobs get every skill that we get so if this was implemented it goes to reason that they would be able to counter also


@rune

could also add a similiar skill to kite as when u kite a blow there is a temporary moment of complete lack of defense in which a bow shot can be fired

For mechanics on this type of skill, if it were ever implemented, I would expect it to look like Vengeful Shot.

That being said, disapprove. This would set back the purpose of the most recent changes to PvE damage mechanics.
