Scammer Torakinclaws / Dragonoffate

I don't know about other clans, but Stats members often help each other out. This has included free resources when needed, power leveling for free, fronting equipment and even TC's being sold on credit, often at a very discounted price. So Trust is a very important factor in our little community. Unfortunately, trust was put into Torak before he had earned it, but that in no means means he should get away with scamming others. This has been brought before those who can do something to make sure this does not happen again, and is therefore placed into their hands. It has not been placed here for people to ridicule those who were scammed. I was also witness to "Torak's" return, and him making a huge deal out of the fact that he owed gold/TC's and that he fully intended on repaying them, but the more he went on about it, the more I was convinced he was just trying to get out of the spotlight without actually planning on making good on his promises.

He only started saying he had every intention of paying for them once I told him I took screen shots and was reporting him.

Originally he stated it was "The original person that made Torakinclaws playing atm", not the one that caused all the issues. However as the conversation went on he said it was indeed the one that took the TCs and had intended on paying such back. Someone asked why he didn't pay them back before he supposedly quit, this got him annoyed and he said he was going to keep the tcs without paying them, and that I could post whatever I wanted cause I had not taken any screen shots in his eyes.

Again his additude was changed when I posted a link to one of the screen shots and he said he will be paying all back what was owed. I asked who did he owe and how did he remember. "I have it all written down." So I asked to list who and how many of each.

After such he quieted down, asked that I didn't send it, to which I told him I already did.

He stated that nothing could be done, since it was game gold. I brought up the fact that not everyone pays for TCs with gold, and someone could have spent real money on the TCs, which is considered internet fraud due to him not paying back willingly.

This needs to stop. Kids play this, and if it's allowed others will soon follow suit thinking it's ok. This could have huge ramifications down the line to the creator, as well as the game itself.

Honestly, if I was glitch I would have told you that you are a retard and that you will have to answer a skill testing question the next time you log to proove that you can actually handle the socail interactions that take place on an MMORPG. While it should not be advised to front any type of currency to anyone you don't know in the promise of goods or services in return, such promises could be taken as a "verbal contract". Therefor, if the person does not deliver on their promise, they could be viewed as committing fraud or scamming. And THAT is what this is about. Since we are not in a court of law, Glitchless will act as "judge", and his first act as so was to tell Gore to make this forum (see first post). Therefore, anyone who has a problem with it (ie Dumpsterslut and such others) needs to leave, or stop THEIR whining that those ripped off were being stupid, deserved to get ripped off, etc.

Before you go flaming someone seeking to rectify a clear (and potentially legal) problem, perhaps you should raise your education level enough to actually read what's being said. Namely, there are children playing the game who could easily be trusting enough to have this happen to them and there are people who spend real money on this game.

In hindsight, sure you can say that trusting this individual blindly was a bad idea. However, most of us like to believe that what we've got here in Nodiatis is more than just a game and a bunch of players, it's a community of people and within any community is a level of trust.

That trust has been betrayed and people have taken loss for it. Period. Hopefully with this being brought to light, something will be done about it and the situation can be resolved in a fair and just manner.

And for those of you claiming that people that get scammed in real life never get their money back, I urge you to read the facts. There are plenty of organizations, including law enforcement, that have secured scammed products/income and returned them to their proper owners. But guess what: nothing happens if the situation is never brought to light in front of those with the power/resources to do something about it. Which is exactly what Gorefists has done here.

So quit spewing trash out of your mouth and crawl back into it where you came from, DS. You'll be doing us all a favor.

Yesterday or thursday Torak pm'ed me and told me that he still planned to give me my tc, so i am curious if it is a IP ban....
