Thank you for your support Tridius.

Be careful what you wish for though. I wasn't going to respond in this thread. But now you have brought down my wrath on these silly goobers.
*cough cough* Athene *cough*.

In my original post in this thread, I responded to Zenga's query. I agree with what he said. If you read his response, this Vicari seems like a pretty decent person.

Glitchless I trust you to determine who would be best for my TC's if you'd be so kind to allow this last request.

Been a fun year or two playing don't regret the cash i've spent, though i do regret the loss of my character.

Good luck Nodiatis, and maybe after a few months I'll try my hand at playing a boring old legit character.

It would be nice to add your botting rules to the general forums rules thread also. I understand they're in the ToS but not everyone checks.

Amost forgot the clan was Skull.
I also pointed this out: a lot of people say that botters do not work for their gold and xp. However, this is the same thing that a free account could say about someone who spends $ 50k on the game; that this heavy spender does not work for his gold / xp; he just buys his way through. The only difference between the two is that one type of action is perfectly legal and desirable while the other is against the rules of the game.

Vicari broke the rule and he got caught and banned. Justice was served. End of story. I wish him the best of luck in his life and in any further Nodiatis pursuits.

And then I don't know what happened but apparently Zenga's post triggered some kind of emotional meltdown in Athene's brain and he/she/it erupted like a volcano and coated us all in warm gooey magma

I disagree with the majority of what Athene has said. I could rebut each of Athene's statements point by point but I am not going to do so because it is completely off topic and frankly pointless.

But I will say this:
For some reason Athene seems to think that rich = evil and that the only way to get rich is to step over everyone else and to exploit the poor.

I couldn't disagree with this more. There are many rich people in the world who are completely honest and work hard for what they have.

Take for example, a person who completes 6 years of college and gets an MBA; this person spends several years after their schooling in an attempt to understand the ropes and to become more "business savvy"; then this person spends the next two decades in an attempt to set up a successful business; finally after multiple failed ventures, if this person happens to succeed and to make his millions, he does not automatically morph into the very image of evil. This person deserves every penny that he receives. Furthermore, it is not his duty to share his new found wealth. If he is generous enough and he does help others, then he is doing the people whom he helps a favor.

Another example is that of Doctors. Everybody knows that doctors in the US make a lot of money: the median annual income for anesthesiologists is $266,000; median annual income for radiologists is $288,000. But why is this the case: One reason is that doctors in the United States have the most rigorous training in the entire world. After high school, they do 4 years of undergrad college, then 4 years of medical school followed by a 3 - 5 year internship (longer for some fields), followed by another period of schooling in order to specialize. No other country has such rigorous standards.

When the person studying to become a doctor, finally completes his or her education, they do not become evil when they start earning money. They deserve every penny they get.

Your complaint about poor people having a lack of access to good education is without merit just like the rest of your views. In the United States, there are plenty of government grants, scholarships, financial aid etc etc available for those who are willing to work hard and excel. I myself am not from a wealthy family but I attended one of the best institutions in the world on a full scholarship / grant. Your position is baseless.

I could go on and on. The majority of the people who are rich are wealthy because they worked for their money. I abhor people who speak negatively of the wealthy simply because they themselves are too lazy to go out and work for some money.

The wealthy are not evil because they are rich; you are evil because you are jealous of the wealth that they worked their tail off to acquire. You are evil because you expect them to give you a free hand down when you yourself did nothing to deserve the money.

Greed is not the problem. Jealousy is. There is nothing wrong with wanting more than what you have; it is completely wrong to want what someone else has worked hard to acquire.

In my mind, calling someone greedy is just a cheap cop out for those who are jealous: I'm sure you have heard the following statement in Nodiatis many times "ohhh look he has more tc's than me ---- he is sooooo greedy; oh look at his tc prices --- he is soo greedy [he has every right to price his own good at whatever price he wants. If you don't like his price don't buy his tc--- why are you jealous ]."

With this said, don't expect me to post in this thread again. Arguing here is pointless and in this thread it is off-topic as well.

Cheers

But Robots are our friends! They desire nothing more than to do mankind's bidding!

It makes me sad that there is still anti-Robot prejudice in this day and age.
