If spells were written instead of gems I could see them being a crafting class with a bonus to spell making, but it is not so. All they could be is a very narrow class that focuses on recepie making, and also I guess a caster of some kind.

All players with Nodiatis Platinum accounts should be allowed to access a third (or tertiary) class. These could include both the "Writer" class and the "Fabled Spicer" class. As a platinum account member myself, I feel either of these options would give my character the chance to excel even further.
