Suppose a group of X-Marines (No such thing, I know. ) came and made a clan too? This is all I am doing with XTian. I like talking about my faith, no matter where it is. I can't do it in civil and I really can't do it in uncivil without it becoming an uncivil discussion, so to be fair there needs to be a third road, private chat. You don't have to read about how much I love Jesus or how Paul is one of my favorite writers if i keep it private. The easiest way to keep it private and still be discussing it with multiple users in Nod is through a clan. So if you don't see what we are talking about and I'm not asking you to join in the clan you dislike, what is wrong?

I wonder what would happen if someone would post a recruit message in the civil forum that sounds like: 'clan whatever is looking for white people. no blacks, yellows or reds allowed'. This is because i'm a big racist / nazi and want to talk with like minded people in private while i play this game'.

I believe in freedom, but freedom ends where you threaten the freedom of others. So i remain my former statement: religion, politics, racial stuff, ... should not exist in a game. In the end thats jeff his call of course.

On a sidenote, do you realize that Christianity has caused many wounds over the last decades? Priests touching young boys on a large scale for example. That's not your fault and nor should you give up your faith for that, but when you advertise in civil for that many might be offended. This example might sound extreme/weird, but it just shows the very thin line of the context. For you it's just some harmless talk, for others it's a bigger issue.

So again, the best way is just to take any religion / politics out of nodiatis to my humble opinion.

Zenga you name the group of people, and we can find things in heir past that are less then flatering.

Girls is a clan for female characters. To some this may represent to over feminization of our society, to others women should not have the right to start a clan on a game where men play and still toothers this is just a girls getaway. Do we prevent girls from mentioning their clan now as well?

No matter what a person beliefs or how they identify themselves, they WILL upset someone. If I call myself a man, a woman who has been raped may be offended. If I call myself white, an african american my get offended because of what whites did over 100 years ago. If I identify myself as Timothy, my real name, I may offend a person who has been abused by a Timothy. There will always be a chance who I am offends someone. Does this mean we take names, genders and ethnicity out of civil too?

My clan has been belittled and attacked by users from lvl 70 to 30. Now my clan and I can be offended when we see other 70-30 users. Should the max level be 29 now?

When did it become okay to label users and dislike them based on that label and nor for who they are? Have I once laughed at a Joke where Mel is being taken advantage of? I'm still a man though, so can other just assume I am ***ist too?
