Jeff, I would like to say that I think for PvP now, there should be at least considered a gemline to prevent pets from healing/attacking for a certain amount of time.

Good im happy for archers but what about beastmasters...And how this was just a buff for every class in nod and nothing for the beastmaster class itself- jeff..

Also Jeff, what effect does mitigated penalties have on things such as the impact of a bowman using a whip/shield?

The patch and patch update just seems to be a catch 22 now. Any lvl 70 beastmasters out there got a say in the discussion?

This improves beastmasters ALOT!!! I personally now think the fire and ice skill is too high of a percent cmon with lvl 70s they should have it atleast 50 in a couple days and then BAM they get healed and attacked from an average of 1 pet every time. I think it should be .5% and that alot of archers use piercers and they dont get a delay?? How can Melee users have bows and how can bow users have melee weapons if you are talking about reality.

and yeah i barely see a gimp/nerf for archers that was an unfair advantage i want an awesome pet improvement for non archers before this update compesate melee users for the past!! haha jkjk quit whining archers

So Jeff, you're probably getting sick of this by now but:

This update was supposed to help Beastmasters. I don't think it did that. What is did was help people who just equipped whips for the beast mastery benefits.

What it should have done (in my opinion) was improve the beast master class, by possibly making a headway in class specific skills...or keep the patch the way it is and make a skill like dual weild reducing the penalty for having two pets while auto-attacking with whips.

Just my two cents...

There are no level 70 beastmasters atm jon.... lolz. My arguement is that that the Beastmaster class itself gained nothing from this update. This updated effects anyone who uses a pet, beastmaster or not, plus it also took away pet haste. * Being a beastmaster should provide a bonus to beastmaster skills, at the moment it doesnt,imo...

I have a 70 bm, and this update is awesome for them. In fact i'll start playing him again actively. First patch was giving archers a huge boost, 2nd one takes them from behind

How you do not have to be a beastmaster to benefit from them.

The term beastmaster is used to describe both a specific class in the game and a type of character that uses whips and pets (and actually melees with the whips). Both were buffed with this patch. The beastmaster class has up to a 24% bonus to pet damage and heals which is incredibly powerful, certainly not in need of a buff.

Fact is this was a buff for anyone who uses a whip and a pet. Fact is anyone can benefit from this so fact is it did nothing for the beastmaster class itself since everyone can benefit from this and there is no benefit fromeven being a beastmaster. Fact is if you look on the tops list there is no several lv 70 BM's paster so you get your facts strait....
