when they hit 24 I was level 28 against 32 mob with 30 petmanship. I will need to get my petmanship level up a few points before I can get the same kind of test but I will show my max hit.

Ok I figured out what happen my pets max hit is 19 againest reds the reason why it was 24 before was because that was a crit before I got wound up so it didn't cause the bleed making me think it was a non crit my max crit is 25 ish

Now you see: pets are underpowered. Having base max damage 17 (with ferocity) your rabbits should do up to round(17*1.5)=26 non crit damage. Join my whining .

They are not that under powered considering that when they crit they do double damage so

17 * 1.5 = 26 crit damage + 26 damage bleed

I don't object this. This is what they do before melee buff. Melee buff increased max melee damage by 50%, but it does not work for pets. Well it increased pet max damage a bit but much less. Pet damage is significant part of damage beastmasters do, so they where weakened in compar-ison to melee players. The reason is pet have much lower str than player. Some way to redistribute pet stats notably it might be added.

But Beastmaster Got a buff from the damage boost as well as the pets and that puts them farther ahead then you are saying but not quite on par with other melee class

Don't forget that Whips/ pets are getting a buff next patch

for those tuning in until now me and his conversation main points are

his BM too under powered
mine BM Slightly under powered

Well lets look: my skunks do up to 31 normal damage to greys and only up to 22 mobs around of my lvl. So pets do 31/22 = 1.41 less damage while you do full damage to both, is it slightly underpowered or a lot ?

I do a lot more damage to greys then to the mobs I fight normaly :/

Actually, I kind of like the idea of a stat enhancement skill for attack pets. It could either be a small % increase to all stats or a large % increase to stats that benefit from enchant stones. It might even be interesting to see pets able to have multiple (2, 3?) enchant stones. Maybe you could only have a multiple-enchanted pet if you have a whip equipped on that side.

I dunno, just some ideas for the apparently ill-fated beast master class.

We are pretty weak but we make it through some how I like the idea of adding a percentage of the pets stats to my own

DW epic chain whips
1 level higher

and im wearing all uncommon gear....
Is there something wrong with this?


ZC's own me easy. We need BM buff again imo.

must have messed his or her build up, I can kill most level 38 easily I am level 35 full 36 suit swans 2 tree claw whips I can't kill them if they have those damn 42 piercers though Once I get fire and Ice that will change though

Regeners current class enhancements need another boost. The Regeneration boost is on base healing and when taken down to numbers like this...

Lets say a normal peep heals for 100 per tick out of combat, the regener would heal for 124 if their skills were evenly matched.

The difference would be large as the numbers went up, but with REG at 550~ that's where they sit right now. To be able to take REG to maybe 1k+ to make a huge difference is impossible.

Edit: I'm not looking to save a ton of RT here i'm looking to be able to tank through bosses, this class should stand out as a tank similar to guardians.

Seems to me the seriously underpowered classes are the ones that get no bonus in combat. Trader and Crafter are terrible classes.

The adventurer seems pretty weak as well; ok he levels faster but then has no class advantage when he gets there.

I've not tried them, but the alcoholic and the enchanter both look fairly uninspiring as well.
